So what? If they can read and think, they'll understand. If they can't, then they're voting for Obama and hating on pharma anyway.

The people writing negative blogs are most likely past employee's. I have found that although we launched a drug in the summer the Physicians in my territory are having great feedback from their patients. One of the things I am hearing a lot is that people are losing weight!
Lose Weight get rid of hot flashes and stop your depressino, heck I will take Pristiq and I'm a guy. (ha-ha)

They're saying all kinds of great things but AREN'T WRITING IT! We're all going to get laid off this fall you dope! Idiot. I'm sick of these morons telling how physicians say they like this new product. It isn't being written which means we lose our jobs.

Wow! I can't believe the remarks here. Sounds like someone has anger issues and could use a shrink himself. I have always been able to find a natural alternative for any prescription that I have been put on. Without the nasty side effects. Been on and off a few and doing so well with the natural route. Don't knock it unless you have experienced it and your science is beyond God's and what he has put on this earth.

Are pharmaceutical reps all as hostile, juvenile, snobbish, and borderline illiterate as the majority posting here? You jerks deserve a nice round of layoffs. My doctor and I do enjoy your free samples, though. I take three medications and haven't paid for any of them in a year.

the only ones that will be reaping the PRISTIQ benefits ARE ALL THE PFIZER REPS!!!!
no one from Wyeth will ever see those PRISTIQ benefits

This drug is a dog. Does any one know what this med did in sales last year? I believe its goal was 160 million. I guess the number should be about 100 million. With this years goal at 320 million and PVC's goal at less than 200m, it is no wonder we are in the situation we are in. Throw in the whopping 11m that relistor brought to the table and we have mass cuts on the way. Pfizer is buying nothing in primary care.

Pfizer bought us because they wanted to get into the lucrative opioid induced constipation market.

And dip... Could that also be the economy that played a role... Launching anything branded in this economy is challenging... Insurance companies push generics, Pharmacies push and are compensated to switching to generics... Some patients here "save you money" "same class" "equivalent" "step edit necesarry" "prior auth necessary"...

Has nothing to do with the drug... There are some patients begging to stay on the drug... They just dont want to go back to the way the felt before... Sluggish initial sales isn't indicative of the drug - its the state of the economy you nimwit.

But the title of this post was not Pfizer buying Wyeth for their Primary Care drugs... In fact, pick up one newspaper, read anything online and that is blatantly apparant. Thanks for your brilliance... No-One knew that.... Oh wait, the whole world already had access to that news. But you were the clever one to figure that out...

WOW am I glad I live in Canada.....My psych doctor gave me this rx and asked me first if my benifits would cover it and if it didn't we have a "no one goes with out meds" well for mental illness at least, so I would be able to get it even if I had no coverage
over here it's not about the drug companies.... it's about the patients and how we CAN be helped

Even my high-school age nephew who works part time as a pharmacy tech was joking about Pristiq this weekend when I was over their house for dinner when the wind-up doll commercial came on - even he thinks it's all a marketing game for a me-too drug and doesn't see why we're making it when they've got tons of cheaper Effexor and other generics to hand out! Then I told him to shut up b/c it's my Wyeth salary that bought him his Wii for Christmas, and he recognized the error of his ways.

PS: Has anybody else who works at or has visited Collegeville noticed the poor wind-up doll they have on display near the Starbucks? Even Prissy was all glossed over for TV. She's all scuffed up, scratched, the paint is chipped and dull. She has no boobs and clown feet, no wonder she's depressed.

Do you really care. In a couple of months we will be pimping Lipitor or Viagra. That is if you survive. Nothing you do from today on means ANYTHING. The numbers are 3 months behind and the cuts will be made by then. Fuck all Wyeth products.

    google: patient reviews on Pristiq

You will find loads of information, probably more than you'll ever care too. I'm on Pristiq and
after reading some of these reviews I was very hesitant. For every good review there was one to counter act it's positiveness.

Over all, I have to say that this AD promises to deliver everything we had been selling it for, so Good luck if you try Pristiq, may you get the same results.

    Re: Pristiq not unique

First, learn how to spell it you morons. I launched Pristiq and know many healthcare professionals that are on it, and many patients who my providers put on it. It's a great AD, very clean, QD, and not expensive anymore. But if you've never sold in neuroscience you don't know what the hell you're talking about so don't write any crap back that it sucks. No drug is for everybody, period. Some people will do well and others won't, but's it's the only dual action AD that doesn't screw up your liver.

hmmm I'm a patient on Pristiq for 3 weeks...not liking the side effects. Depending on the time of day I've had chest pain, and actually thought I might faint a couple times. I've been on other AD(SSRI) before but never felt these symptoms.I have difficulty falling asleep and this seems to intefere= keeping me awake! This does not help! I'm seeking to feel better without side effects! This day will probably never come! Either way I can't believe the language of some of you people...geez maybe you need to sample your products. Sales Reps: the patient's well being is way more important than making a buck...physicians believe this.
