So do we really know if he left on his own terms or was asked to leave??

The guy leaves here to pop up at as a CEO at another pharmacy shortly after. Sounds like his choice, not a firing. Not to mention Ken has gone out of his way to say they did NOT fire Peter Kim although they should have, at least 5 years ago and for at least 10 reasons.

Let this be a lesson to you, kids, once you make it to helicopter ride level you can do anything you want - unless you're the CFO, he, on the other hand, was most certainly shown the door. Merck doesn't like to restate guidance and they REALLY don't like taking so long to lay people off.

Funny how they left out his experience as a yacht salesman. I'll bet he was the used car type of salesman. The guy is just a chancer who lucked into a management position early on in pharma, which sounded like his 7th or 8th career change.

PP is just a drug pusher. No one with any self respect or dignity would ever go there from big pharma. It's one thing to make a dollar. It's a whole different thing to work for a company like that. Any one who works there has no soul. You have to be bottom of the barrel. Sounds like the perfect landing spot for Mark. If you get fire from there I can't think of what the next steps are. Maybe sell used cars? Clean septic tanks by hand?

Talk about having no moral compass.

What's worse? A criminal record or having Purdue Pharma on your resume? Good old MT. I would never hire anyone from there.

He might be our next CEO. No ones hires anyone from that shithole. It's were careers go to die. It's like getting cut from a last place team. Most of them have no place to go. At that point people will destroy life's to make a buck.
