As I was told the story, MNK asked the FDA exactly how to get XXR approved with tamper resistant/abuse deterrent labeling. The studies were done and the results were good enough to display the research findings/papers at Pain Week. Then because the FDA chief had to defend the approval of Zohydro in the national media, the labeling was withheld from XXR.

That's what they should have filed suit on.

Yes, and they also told us at launch that they were continuing to pursue the abuse deterrent labeling. What has been done about that?

One more in a long string of lies to the sales force to make everything look like it's our fault.

FDA is playing to Zogenix and Purdue. Ain't happening for Mallinckrodt.

Mallinckrodt suing FDA. That pretty much locks in our future.

It also indicates what the SLT considers important. Apparently they don't care about ever getting any new drugs approved.

Oh, that's right!! They are going to sell the company and get super rich. They don't care about approvals.

You hit the nail on the head! Trust me, that is their intention. Mallinckrodt will be purchased in 2015. Meanwhile, as our reputations go out the window...

MNK, not a bad place to work, unless you like getting paid on time. MNK hasn't paid an IC check on time since the merger

They have paid late before the merger: "oh, checks on the 5th.....whoops, never mind, someone in some department went on vacation and the IC checks weren't approved, so how does the 19th grab you?"

So much for values at MNK. Not one home office employee displays a single core value. No accountability. Sad, they will never get anywhere because talented people cannot stand the way things are done at this company.
