Jon Kramer has gone fishing! Good for him. A lingering question regarding Jon: Did he ever tell anyone the truth or was he the best misdirection guy in the history or orthopedics? Just wondering!!
Jon was a terrible so called leader from the day he started and took over as an AVP. He was the one individual who ran Zimmer into the ground when he started as President of Sales. Not only did us former sales reps lose respect for the company because of him, most of the distributors had zero respect for him as well. He started by trying to hire competitive distributors and then competitive executives from Biomet. How did that work out?? It only cost Zimmer millions of dollars in losing lawsuits against Biomet and millions and millions of dollars in lost sales because of his bonehead distributor moves!! My question is... Unless he has some pictures on upper management executives, how can a company stand by a person of his caliber for so long? To be honest......he should have been sent fishing the day Zimmer bought trabecular metal because he didn't want to work after that happened, but contractually he had too!!! Maybe his wife will give him a "Kramer List" to do from now on and she can discourage him like he did the sales force everyday, including the awards banquets, if he doesn't get it done. But I'm guessing he will also bitch at the hands that feed him, like he did at what use to be the best sales force in the Ortho world until he came on board!! Hopefully Zimmer has finally cut all ties with him because anybody who uses him as a consultant needs to have their heads examined!!
