it doesn't. this cluster is already right-sized. they still have Eliquis...which they co-promote with BMS as well as multiple other internal PFE reps in other clusters...P-13 that they co-promote with vaccines...

Without Pharmacia (and Wyeth), we would've been Roche. Those companies brought us drugs that kept us afloat for over a decade Lipitor, Zyvox, COX-2s, oncology franchise…..

 

When Pfizer assimilated Warner Lambert and Pharmacia, NYC leadership was truly a lethal mix of arrogance and ignorance. All the talent in those companies was kicked out and woefully ineffective legacy Pfizer drones continued on to produce very little. Thank you Bill Steere for destroying the future Pfizer could have had!

 

the hospital group, as a whole, is a giant waste of money considering they don't sell hospital based products. a few years ago they were worth their weight...that time has more than passed.

 

Without Warner-Lambert (Parke-Davis) Pfizer would never have had LIPITOR, LYRICA, and even NEURONTIN. With the lawsuits and all, Pfizer made millions off of NEUTONTIN. Don't forget the OTC Division, American Chicle, and Capsugel which were sold for billions of dollars. Tell me one major blockbuster Pfizer has developed in the last 15 years. Zero!

 

Pretty damn sad, isn't it. And Pfizer has the balls to call themselves a great company; a great parasite is more like it. Thousands of people without jobs because they were canned, great R&D of other comapanies dismantled, all for the shortcomings of an inept, scum-sucking, cash heavy shitbox like Pfizer.

May the entire organization rot in hell soon.

 

When people (especially upper and senior-level managers) get canned from here, they find out very quickly what the outside world thinks of us. We had a great run in the 90s and early 2000s, but MUCH of it due to drugs of our collaborators that we later consumed.

Now that Zyrtec, Aricept, Lipitor and so many others aren't generating billions in revenue, people see that the Emperor has no clothes. Fortune Magazine's article was the final horn before our 5 year implosion plan.

re-evaluate what? That we have nothing to sell or do

 

just too stupid to respond to...territories are ALWAYS being evaluated...unfortunately no one will stick their head out and say there is no need for the headcount since their own job and span of control rely on this.
