First, tomorrow's (27 Oct) AGN Q3 2014 report; the broadcast starts at 9:00 AM EST (6:00 AM PST), and is accessible from the Allergan website. They promise to also keep a recording up for one week for later viewing afterward from their site for those who can't view the live broadcast (more shareholder and stakeholder friendly than Valeant's "now-you-see-it, now-you-don't" broadcast from last week). Then, the next day, 28 Oct 2014, is the court hearing on Pershing Square/Valeant: did they break any SEC laws with their secretive accumulation of AGN stock in early 2014? If the SEC rules that they did, this would throw out the 9.7% of voting shares that Ackman holds for the Dec. 18 AGN shareholder special vote. Big week coming up...
oops--it may not be the SEC making the determination at this point. Probably one of the courts, but which one? One of the courts in California, or the one in Delaware?
