God knows teva and the others in the pain space never truly tried to sell their fentanyl products in oncology. They talk a good game about selling above board and doing the right thing, but when you look at history they have really given a half ass effort going after the oncology business. Really? Most oncologists don't treat severe pain well and turf it to a pain specialist. RX's written by pain specialists are not necessarily off label.
Have you ever spent time in front of these pain clinics? The patients do look like they are suffering, from being a junkie, not cancer.....
