Maybe the official extension announcement...or a sudden change that's not an extension? My manager wasn't aware there was a call.

Where is the 95% retainment rate they spoke about? Not seeing it, they don't even have a career assistance program in place.

What's the deal with the Xolair/Erivedge contract? Has everyone been retained?

What 95% rate, that who spoke about?
    And career assistance?
You do understand that the Xolair contract was a CONTRACT right?

How would anyone on the Xolair contract know who is being retained over on the Xolair/Erivedge contract? And why would anyone one the Xolair/Erivedge contract be let go in the first place, if they are expanding it?

Former Xolair Inventiv rep here. What's the deal? Is the contract over end of this year?

Yes. We were told in October that the client had signed a new contract for 2015 but on Nov. 20 we learned that Genentech had backed out of it and that we would be done 12/31.

Sorry to hear it. Any reasons given? How did Deb spin it?

No spin, it was allegedly extended then it was definitely not. She was as surprised as the rest of us and is busting ass trying to help us all land somewhere.

Sorry to be a Grinch..but folks this is contract work, period...I am sure inVentiv would love to have a big new contract or long term extension signed, why? of course to keep profits rolling in..thats the business their in..that's a good thing..they luv'd to keep all the reps busy for the next 20 years..they hire'd you and like the work you've done so far...

The reality is that the best inVentiv can offer is that their trying hard to win business (and they truly are no doubt) BUT remember 'trying' doesn't pay anyone's bills..Contracts end..people move on, new contracts come up with 'new' hiring terms means you may not get looked at again for awhile if ever..when the cupboard is bare, its bare..no long term severance or extended benefits..just a nice knowing you, stay in touch, don't call us, we'll call you..other than that, inVentiv is a fair and good company to work for.
