It's simple, get rid of half the mangers. It's been excruciatingly counterproductive having to chauffeur these people around every two weeks. We spend countless valuable hours on conference calls, ride alongs, and filling out trackers. If they left us alone we would have a lot more time to get out there and make a difference. These offices don't want to see these DMs with us and they completely shut down. Do something about this and I gaurentee sales will grow and we'll save a lot of wasted money.
This is absolutely true. Micro-management is at an all time high. The tracking of EVA, IVA and PET is overly stressful combined with the countless trackers and spreadsheets we have to do for our DM. The "positive tension" is forcing us to focus on all of the wrong things. If we were just allowed to think for ourselves and get out there and sell, it would be more productive. To top it off, ride alongs every 2-3 weeks are excruciating.
Go sell something, if you can't that's ok. Go someplace you can sell a product you don't have to work for. This is a difficult product to sell and there's no question about that. Need data? Don't have it. What do you do? F'ing make it happen and if you can't leave Shionogi! All I've heard from everyone is excuses. Leave if you're not happy you useless tool bags.
