Abbott is transitioning to a Shared Services Model and more and more jobs are being outsourced to India. What are your thoughts on this?
Great. India has been under a lot of scrutiny lately for outsourced services. Abbott is sure to be busted now.
AN tried outsourcing their CSO to India. Could not have been a bigger F**up. Not only did the service come crashing down customers were really pissed of that we would destroy so many jobs. After 3 months they had to bring it back to the US. Still a bad taste in customers' mouths
You would think they would learn. But at the end of the day, it all comes down to the bottom line and nothing more.
Everything they do in the name of efficiency should be called waste of money and business killing ideas.
read today that in India people are forced to defecate in public because there are no public toilets. It is common to see bare butts sitting on the railroad tracks doing their business. I just thought I would mention that.
Nope, 2 things, bottom line and whoever has the pals at the company running things in India. Sometimes what is a good bottom line is a lot of smoke and mirrors. Lots of scrutiny in India right now. Tee hee hee hee hee hee.
