Raises?

    Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I can't wait to splurge on my hubbie with the money from my big raise... oh wait, that's right... we don't give raises. WTF?

    Raises would be nice. Isn't that standard practice to review this when you do annual reviews?

    You know what else would be nice? Having a clue as to how our commission is determined. How can a sales company not provide commission statements every month? On top of that they constantly make "adjustments" without explaining to the reps what these adjustments were. We are clueless as to what our commission is going to be every month and we don't get raises on our base salary. How can a sales organization operate like this? Why isn't sales revolting? Maybe it's just easier to leave.

    There is a way to get a raise and that is to do what I did. Sell Tielle!!! Works like a charm and my commission checks are growing each month. Also, use SFDC as a true tool and don't treat it as if it were admin work. Review your business plans and drive Tielle. Commission dollars will follow.

    Another year with increased sales over prior year, and yet another good performance review without a raise. How can this company continue to operate like this? According to government data, the cost of living has increased by over 11% since 2009, but my base salary remained the same all those years. In other words, every year that I work here, I get a little poorer. Maybe it's time to finally leave..

    don't forgot about the 2% tax increase this year. You'll be even poorer this year! Definitely time to start looking. The light at the end of the tunnel is only a mirage.

    Worse than the lack of raises, I heard this NSM is the last meeting we will have our own rooms!! I can not believe this company will not cough up the money for single rooms, is that really going to break the bank here at good 'ol Systagenix?? Maybe if our leader would relocate--we could save a few bucks cutting out the weekly air travel and hotel chargesl! Maybe we can just ask the EMT to cash in a few nights of their marriott rewards and let the reps keep some digity!
    It is shameful!

    I agree not having own rooms is sad. However I would just be happy we are having a NSM and this place is still paying us. With our products being 20+ years old with nothing new in site its a miracle they still employ a direct sales force. We would probably get the same results with Distributors or contract folks selling for us.

    The competition is calling, offering bigger base salaries and better commission structure. One would think that our company would want to keep its reps and offer a more competitive compensation plan.

    Corporate needs to step up and take care of its reps.

    I would work for the competition for less money. But as long as you are here the only rise you will get is in your undershorts when you are watching youporn sitting in your pos camry or impala everyday...

    As true now as it was a year ago except for another year of cost of living increase. Clearly this company wanted to make our numbers look good for potential buyers. Well, we've been acquired. Can we please stop the charade and give raises this year? This company is a disgrace.

    While we're at it, anyone look at the non-compete? I've never seen anything like it in all my years of medical sales. How ridiculous.
