layoffs coming big time. they won't call it that though. for sales, if you don't make your insurmountable quota, that's it. for internal employees, it's witch hunting season.

doubt they will fire anyone for not hitting their numbers no ever does and they never have in the past. The whole division is never even close to hitting quota since its inception? Has anyone ever been fired for not hitting quota?

Move along troll . The territories that are open are some of the best in the country and higly sought after. It is an expansion not backfilling .

^^^^ ummmm.... No. Backfilling is EXACTLY what it is. We're not expanding.

I think what this guy is posting has you missing the bigger picture. This will eliminate the need for Anesth docs for most facilities. The rate that our Anesth docs are paid are astronomical, and hospitals will not pay that rate for them to simply come and do a simple intubation. The point is that intubation will likely be passed on to the surgeon, which means that we will end up SELLING to the surgeons. Not good news, obviously. Think a little bit out of the box and a little further down the road... That article means quite a bit for the way we sell moving forward.

And speaking of short bus... The word you were struggling to use is COMPLIMENT, lol. Genius.

Yup, this would be devastating. We spend most of our time being shunned by the surgeons. If that article is true, this changes the entire selling dynamic and poses an enormous amount of new roadblocks. Not good.

I heard that Storz has a new single use intubation scope coming and will need new reps to sell it. Is this true? When will it be released? What are the call points...same as Ambu or just OR? Will you also have disposable blades? Interested in any open positions in CA. Thanks for any info!

No new reps only backfilling positions because the new comp plan is a discrase and everyone is quitting

Okay thanks. Would it be worth joining for the new products? Are they any good against competition?
