What's the deal with all of the 360 "specialists" covering all things UHS now, but all they want to do is sit at home and never travel? Most of them haven't a clue what a day in the field is like, nor do they understand our top products. Would be nice if they educated themselves...oh, wait....Colby is their God and they don't know any better!!!

That's a pretty accurate description, glad I'm not the only person who thinks that way.

How are Colby and Gary Doze still here?

Brilliant question! Colby continues to taint his new hires and feed them bull. He bullies and bad mouths all of his DSD counterparts, PS, and of course AE's!

Just imagine how great this organization could be if
somehow we could stop finding fault within our ranks.
Too often it seems that lower intelligence in the AEs
allows their insecure nature to prohibit business. I am a proud,
honest specialist that appreciates an environment of collaboration and
loyalty but I usually get left out of pertinent conversations which could
yield a desirable outcome when given enough details to form a strategy.
Some people need to honestly assess thier flaws and realize that trust is
useless when you continue backstabbing and talking crap behind the backs of those
champions that win business and actually drive results.
Keep the innuendos and agendas away from the business and maybe we can actually
survive this economic wasteland in healthcare and make some money.

I agree with your overall message. But why did you have to contradict your first sentence with the second one blastiing the AEs. Just because someone puts you down is no reason to follow suit. I believe we are all adults. We need to work together as one, from the top down, to succeed and grow. I am just tired of the negativity.

I agree we should all work together, but the AE's always seem to be blasted. Good AE's and good specialists can and do work well together. It's happening more and more and there is good talent in both categories.

Lets say that the 360 specialists exist on a continuum between business driving champions of superior intellect and arrogant customer and coworker alienating a-holes. I would suggest that the person who posted the message above trends toward the latter.

Can't we all just get along?
And recognize that the 360 people are just better than the rest of us?
    Especially those lazy stupid AEs?

If that was a real post, it's a perfect look into the mindset of the Dozes/Colbys of the world.

UHS is upside down. Too many "experts" and not enough customer advocates (and decent equipment, and engineers, and customer support and account managers and field AR help and, on and on)
Company was built on PNR. PNR funded all the silly grandiose ideas to buy low margin equipment and stick underpaid people on site to manage it. What could possibly go wrong?

Seriously? This was about as serious as a box of laxatives passed out an all you can eat buffet. This empty rhetoric was another successful diversion from my day which has provided entertainment yet again. You guys are a bunch of jack wagons. I can't wait until I leave this dump.

Someone who actually brought value would not be left out of conversations.

That is the truth! Those of us who have "honest specialists" ARE brought into conversations. That reply proves the point of this original thread.

    Haha-

People bring other people into deals to make each other look good not because they bring value. You see it over and over again. Big deals close and guys who were cc'd on one email and went to one meeting take credit in some way. It's a self perpetuating cycle.

This is comical! Reality is...all of the A 360 specialists, one per division, is costing the company lots of money and we're simply not getting desired results. CUT BAIT! Don't let anyone fool ya, we are signing less deals today then we did 2, 5, or even 10 years ago when we only had 2 or 3 total specialists in the company, and most signings then were conversions to new technology which netted real incremental revenue. All we seem to be doing now a days is converting high margin business to low margin business and calling it a win/win. Most of these deals would happen with good AE's regardless. Having the ability to Convert current PH business to a 360 that's an hour and half away from the district, or SN to KCI at a lower rental rate, is not netting UHS any new revenue or in need of a specialist to do! It's just flipping good margin to bad and extending the term. Yet, somehow these self hyped experts think they're doing the company good. In all honesty, 360 team I ask how many deals have you closed in the past 12 to 24 months that brought the company new incrememental revenue growth? Silent pause,,,since most of you haven't closed a deal in the past 12 to 24 months the answer is very very few have added revenue!! Most closed 360's are taking revenue from one product bucket and moving it to the 360 bucket with a discounted price and calling it a win. Call me crazy I don't know.

Yep! Most of them sit at home all day and have so many "meetings" which is al by way of the phone. They still make more money than anybody and don't lift a finger!
