Rumor of Layoffs

Soon, there will be a generic nexium, XR and Crestor, all by 2016, and maybe sooner with a good patent challenge. The constipation drug will be a small blip. I'm sure most of the cancer drugs will end up being duds too. Brilinta is, oh well, Brilinta. It will never in a million years be a $3.5 billion dollar product Frenchie predicted it would be. Nope, not taking the Pfizer offer might be much worse in the long run for job security than taking it.

We can't sell this dog hell yes we are going to have lay offs. Every time my docs use it they get back to me on SOB. We need something new.

 

Holy shit!! Have you seen the TV commercial for Farxiga? I couldn't figure out what we were selling except side effects and warnings. I swear they went on for 90% of the commercial. Only AZ would be dumb enough to pay to have their drug smeared. WTF is that?

 

That is because the legal department has been running AZ for a long time now. Our sales leaders are simply ribbon cutters.
