    ITS CALLED KARMA!
Instead of using the resources we have........we go fly fishing!
How many of our Neuro reps would be perfect picks for this med? 100%, hands down...
Time to rethink the scenario......when FDA opens the gates!

The Neuro reps would have cost twice as much, maybe more. That's not how Merck does things any longer.

Launching a new specialty product without specialty reps is like driving a bike instead of a car. Expect to get less.

The company already knows it's going to be a dog. They will get even less than they expect, which isn't much.

Lunesta, Ambien, Intermezzo, Benadryl and Thorazine. I suspect selling this drug will be difficult from a managed care standpoint and step edits. The environment is not so friendly with these meds and only cash paying folks will try it. Long uphill battle and not the life saver that Merck needs to stay afloat. It will be an interesting drug to watch and see where it goes in 2015. Maybe required for all PC reps to carry with the failure of Zetia/Vytorin. Most physicians don't appreciate the one rep/one drug mentality.

Friends at HQ: What's up with the sleep drug? Who will sell it? Contract reps? Any word?

Don't rush the heavenly hosts, after they are finished self testing the drug you will learn your place in the launching process.

Well here ya go. Come February some Januvia reps getting another product to sell. Never know what hits are coming next. CTL's jamming the reps to analyze the shit out of their data yet they have fewer offices to call on. Driving around all day trying to see customers who might prescribe their products. This business model can't last much longer..

Funny u spend 20 minutes in car with CTL pre call
Planning and having to role play with CTL only to have the predicted turn down because dr is on production which you could of planned on but CTL wants you in tier 1 clinic. Model of stupidity and business model long gone. OMG

The CTL is to be revered and obayed. If you, with your limited experience and knowledge, do otherwise is to limit tenure. Straight on top of the downsizing lists.
