GSK Breaks Pledge

    Less than a year after making a pledge to end the use of paid physician promoters, GSK released the names of 168 freshly minted promoter/lecturers of its new diabetes drug, Tanzeum.

    The pledge was to end payed speakers by the year 2016.

    Let's face it no matter how many FLT's, Speaker Programs Tanzeum is simply another "Me To" drug. Some time ago GSK announced they were not going to launch any more me to drugs. Well...Veramyst, Breo, and the list continues.

    We also heard there was a boot dropping and there would be no others to drop.... Oh yes right before massive layoffs. Then there was also big discussion about integrity....how many fines in how many countries now? There are many pledges they have broken to us! Good thing we are at home studying this is embarrassing to explain!
