    Not a true leader. No one really knows where she is guiding our teams to and doesn't really seem to care much about employee engagement. No clear leadership or focus. Did a very poor job of selecting her leadership team in April. Hard to find respect for her right now.

    Add Michelle D to that list- insecure and threatened by anyone that has talent or will challenge her. Just look at the managers on her team.

    Its pretty obvious from the DOS and DSMs who remained in the BMBU that they didn't want anyone who could think freely, come up with better ideas or challenge the mandates from DR and AA. They didn't want anyone but 'yes' men and women. That's what they got. The most talented were not valued and clearly not welcome to the 'New World Order'. NV couldn't lead her team out of a box.

    It is a shame. No one ever thought it would come down to this. One day seeing Lilly as one of the best and now one of the dregs. Now no one is allowed to think for themselves or come up with any ideas on how to do things better. Too much insecurity that AA and DR have expected from the DOS team. Look at NV. She's been a DOS for like one hour. (compared to all the other DOS that were let go). How could she possibly know what she's doing. Or support any original thought that would contradict the suppression of DR and AA? Not that she could do that anyway. Totally incapable.

    Read the book Go Givers and it will solve all your problems... That's essentially the problem with our sales force. They think this concept is revolutionary, exposing themselves for the narcissists they are. This book is making money off the weak. It's a child's book with no original thought, but with lessons in life on how to treat people (remember Sunday school). Therefore, we spend more time in the West talking about this rudimentary book than our customers. We cry over it at meetings telling each other about some go giver story... Half embellished. I think Harvard will do a case study in a few years called: Go Givers sell less, a study on how easily Lilly was duped.

    Not many leaders at this company have an original thought in their head- and if they do, they refuse or don't have the courage to share it for fear they will be retaliated against. Go Givers, Tribal Leadership... I've never seen such limited group thinking anywhere else...

    When Ricks did his time in the Canadian affiliate he obviously found a few unqualified groupies that he tagged to throw on his suitcase to bring home to the US. Shocking that we would use good practices or find talent from up north....

    Too bad her husband left the company. He was the nice one. Would love to know what really caused him to go..... More to that story.....She's a very sick person.....

    So what's the real story on DR ? Don't know much about Biomedicines, but would like to know: a) the "real deal" visionary leader b) just a good looking, smooth talking chucklehead like so many others in Lilly management these days.
