Why in the middle of negotiating with one of our bigger purchasing group did Baxter issue a price increase? It defies logic to me but alas, I am simple minded so maybe someone else can explain it to me.
When volume is down, the unit price is raised to try to make up the difference. No one said it's smart or that the fish will bite, but it is what it is in desperate times.
Have you met any of our national account directors/managers? Trust me that no one is more under qualified than this group of individuals.
