Four failures in a row, maybe five. Now it's back to the target lists and see them twice a week. Clueless company and management.

The word "sales" has become a dirty word and concept. Thus DC brings us MCE, COTS, All the BS, measured based on value (yet we don't measure customer value which the closest corresponding result is "sales" nor are customer value measures or scores used to see what our customers think of us as individual reps).

DC is a social experiment gone wrong! GSK may have made some mistakes in the past but the biggest one was hiring her.

It will be very interesting Wednesday. Will DC tell us she is falling on the sword on the way out with 30% of her teammates? The only catch is she gets to walk with 10's of millions while she has decimated GSK!

The failure starts at the head of top of GSK and works its way down.

The prestigious FTL Award comprises a Styrofoam head of DeDuhh. Put it in a place of honour.

check out first word article today on new drug launches. one quote-"GSK- which delivered the most disappointing performance verses analysts expectations."

Product Current Sales Original Consensus Forecast Change
    Breo 88M 409M -321M
    Anoro 59M 324M -265M
    Tanzeum 26M 62M -36M

Senior leadership continues to blame the deficit on "pricing pressures in the US"
internally we know its a mixture of inept contracting, PF, and poor leadership

The 3 strikes and your out should now result in the deselection of all senior ""leaders''' responsible for FTL.

29 years with Gsk, their definition of leadership is to drive their own failing agenda! Don't care about GSK stock winners circle etc when will it hit rock bottom?

OMG. Hahahaha. How can you fail this bad 3 times in a row? These misses in estimates are t even close. Change at the top is needed and PF needs to go before GSK destroys itself.

The thing that strikes me about the Tanzeum numbers is that the projected sales numbers are so low. Do they even plan to eventually recoup the cost of these things before they load up the pipeline?

That is just the consensus forecast for this year. It will go up next year so the gap will be greater.

Add another 500M to this 600M for the contracting debacle with Advair and who knows the negative effect PF has had on existing products as well? This is a great demonstration of how extremely poor leadership can hurt a company's revenue and destroy shareholder value.

these forecasted numbers would be more accurate in an organization with better leadership and without PF
