Why don't call someone that works for Cubist and ask them instead of doing your due diligence on an anonymous board you troll?

Depends on your manager. Some are good, some are bad. Ask people that are in the district you want to be a part of. If they are intimidated or hesitant to respond take it as a bad sign of their manager. Ask the hiring manager if he will let you talk to people in his division. If he says no, that's a very bad sign. He/she has insecurities and isn't confident in his/her ability to lead. Good luck.

Ha, are you outraged that it's not some moronic post you wrote, instead of a vaid question?

To be completely honest, nobody really knows right now. If you asked here a year ago you would have received no answer at all, because reps don't go to cafe pharma when things are good. Today... the Cubist forum is full of lurkers and bashers and others who are frustrated by the recent nosedive our culture has taken. Trust has been replaced with fear and knew-jerk upper managnent. Lots of good people seem to be leaving. Take that for what it's worth, which is probably a lot more than any single answer you'll hear back otherwise.

Cubist will fire you in two years if you don't hit your goals. Just ask anyone in the Dallas district. The woman that is their manager had 4 reps. leave in one year, she either fired or they left because she is a nut. She got pfired as a DM from Pfizer, and that's all the information anyone needs to understand.

This post is spot on the Cubist culture when you were treated like an adult is long gone. The upper management has brought the morale down to all time low and sorry to say this place is a mess right now. Stay away if you can.

Go to work for Pfizer or Merck instead of Cubist. It will be less role plays , call reporting, manager ride alongs and you will not lose money on your company car!

you don't give up do you? Too bad you have no network to speak with so you throw these lame prying questions on here....looking to find free information and then charge your client when you recycle whatever you can grab and then throw it in your due diligence or market landscape report...tweak it just enough so it's no recognizable as "dumpster dive" trash from CP. Lame.

Since January 1, 2014 this place has been hell. Do not come here everyone is looking to get out. New Management has totally recked the culture.

No, cubist is not a good place to be! It is the most micro-managed I have ever been, worst than Merck or Pfizer. They treat us like babies, role-plays, field visits ,etc. I would not recommend coming here....at least not until things change. Too many chiefs....upper management is a joke! The stock is way down (really?) of course it is bc morale is at an all-time low. We are losing really good reps which speaks for itself. I doubt they plan on doing anything until the company is bought. they just care about their stock options!
