Lets look at the life of a sales rep for Horizon. TRXs are crumbling for Duexis and Vimovo is not doing well since both are $800 for a months prescription. A recent cut in commission plan really has pissed off sales force. The cut is because they have to stop the bleeding and stop losing so much money. Being exposed everyday for our crazy price tag has created doctors not wanting us to be stopping by 2 to 3 times a week. Celebrex goes generic next month and these docs will be all over this drug. It WORKS and can be enjoyed by all for pennies. It is all coming to an end hard.

looks like through their discount program, a patient can buy this for $20 out of pocket per month, A SAVINGS OF $130 PER MONTH. my math tells me that is, at most, a $150 per month drug. where does $800 come from? maybe the fact that you are a liar?

Try to get a prescription of duexis with your insurance. Horizon charges $800 then the pharmacy marks it up so now your price is over $1000. Twenty dollars my ass. If you have great insurabce maybe. Tier 3 or blocked by majority of plans. Plus now doctors are exposed to the price and they get pissed. Generic cobo for pennies

    YOU'RE SPREADING FALSE INFORMATION.

Below is an excerpt DIRECT FROM THE DUEXIS WEBSITE:

The DUEXIS Savings Plus Program is not valid for prescriptions that are eligible to be reimbursed, in whole or in part, by Medicaid, Medicare or other federal or state health care programs, including any state prescription drug assistance programs and the Government Health Insurance Plan available in Puerto Rico (formerly known as "La Reforma De Salud"). Patients must be 18 or older. Patients will pay a minimum of $20 per fill and will receive a maximum savings of up to $130 per 30-day-supply prescription

Can you blame them? When you look at the increasing cost of healthcare, products like this have to be curbed.

Plus, now we have a truly novel new formulation of Diclofenac at a really low dose with micron delivery. Drs are much more excited about that new Zorvolex than our product and their reps are sampling the crud out of the market. We're screwed!

Your company is everything that's wrong with healthcare. It's all just a scheme to take advantage of loopholes that aren't yet closed. A fixed-dose combination of generic OTC drugs that can be bought at Costco for a few bucks, and charging the system $800 is shameful. Once the commercial insurance companies can restrict benefit designs or eliminate these copay cards you guys won't have a company anymore. I don't know how any of you sleep at night.

Horizon Pharma is not A legit PHARMA company, it is a warehouse for generic combo drugs. Its a place for reps who have been let go from real Pharma and they are forced to take a job at this sorry place of a company. One good thing is people get a job and can keep interviewing to find there next career move.
