Is she flying around making the 'announcements'?

 

Is she really that bad? I interviewed with her a couple times long ago and couldn't help but notice the negative press on her on this board.

 

Probably not a bad person, (Many will disagree).
Just someone in WAY over their head for the job, and her team suffers the consequences

Has she hired ANY of the open positions in the east yet?
Mixed messages; unreturned calls and emails, on/off postings online!
What the hell is going on in this is area?

 

really amazed that she has stayed in position. Was referred to her by respected long time Abbott rep for mgmnt. She is either too threatened or intimidated by experience and may have higher connections that allows her to behave so unprofessionally.

Never met as many calls from internal personnel and me went unanswered.

 

Sadly you are right on as all counts.
Sounds like a pretty typical experience with JM.
If interviewing with her, and you trust your recruiter,
ask if you are the candidate being 'kept warm'.

 

What is being 'kept warm'?

 

The obvious; you're 2nd choice.
But more how she does it. You may never hear a word back...silence.
Very unprofessional. No guts to face you with a couple of simple words...

 

I think you're right, she's threatened and intimidated.

She was at TCT the other day! Just the usual fly-by, left early...amazed we were able to manage on our own..

 

Don't feel bad. I interviewed with her for an RM position and thought we really connected. Feedback was very positive, then nothing. Glad I'm not the only one. The good news I found a better position with more upside. Don't let that kind of crap keep you down! Her loss

 

Thanks. I did the same, and the grass is much greener! Just bullshit with the games, wasting my time with her. Still think Abbott would have been a good opportunity, just not working for her.
Hopefully she doesn't believe in karma, cause its a bitch
