I can't believe how you idiots fight among yourselves. Some of you defend, others do not. But, in the big scheme of things, you all spend precious time, yes time, posting on this site. And who are you posting about? Who really cares. I have said what I said before. There are a group of us that do have our files in order that encompass recordings, emails, testimonials, etc. Say whatever ridiculous things that you all say. We will have our day. We have a personal case for Mr Lustig. All of you do not need to hypothesize the law or if Pfizer will defend him or statute of limitations. If you are reading this, you must have some interest in this fellow. I assure you that nothing that we have stated on this post will affect Mr Lustig's outcome. He will retire, and then we will have our day. I will not share any more details. You can all continue to theorize his outcome but no one holds this website accountable, so go to work and keep your jobs.

Good points. Let me offer a couple of examples regarding Al's stellar business acumen: upon introducing himself to our district when he took over as CT state manager he pontificated on how relationships with docs didn't matter, insisted that ANYONE could effectively replace anyone else. The vets among us couldn't believe what we were hearing. Then later, when senior mgt starting giving lip service to the importance of those rep relationships, Al was all over it, heartily agreeing. Laughable. He also liked being critical of the lack of ROI on dinner programs at POA business reviews, Toviaz especially. Would get disgusted w/the field force over the lack of traction. Then in a couple of months he'd start reaming out his DMs for lack of Toviaz program activity, and there would be a mad scramble to get some done. This cycle would go on repeatedly. The guy or gal who likes to come on to this thread and act like the sun shines out of Al's big back-side, I challenge you to give specific examples of an Al initiative that worked, one that HE originated...

He is a symptom of the rotten core of so-called leaders here. We had no leadership selection or development program, so I guess that we get what we deserve when we have high ranking people like him. As ass-backwards as it sounds, the only good thing about having sweeping cuts is that tools like this get severed. Its really sad to watch them wonder why they don't get picked up by any company other than Publicis (where apparently our deposed ex-VP M.K. looks after her old Labs and Pratt cronies.)

Did that make you feel better? To blow out a lot of hot air? you obviously know nothing of the law, it is illegal to record someone without their knowledge and consent. Can't wait to see you try to use it and end up in a legal bind...moron

And waiting for him to retire is also very smart. Lawyers would rather sue Al than Pfizer because he has so much more money than the company. If I was a lawyer and had a slam dunk case like the poster states who would I want to sue for a bigger payday??? There is your answer-the poster makes no sense! I love the part about Pfizer's legal team dismissing it to protect Al. Pfizer's lawyers are there to do one thing and one thing only-protect Pfizer. If firing Al for impropriety protected the company he would have been gone. He was freaking State Director which isn't that high up on the food chain. Certainly not high enough for attorneys to be protecting.

Ahh yess. Quoting based on what you do not know. the recordings were made by Al to trap someone else. The people who have them acquired them through ways that are not your business. It seems that Al was trying to use them on someone and it backfired because what was discussed can serious hurt him. So shut up and stop trying to play legal counsel. Do you think that all of the information would be disclosed on this stupid site for morons as yourselves to discuss? Come on, go back to work, and put your thinking caps back on.

I think someone should get on with THEIR life and move on. Years from now after Al has been retired and enjoyed a long life and is put into the ground you will probably still be trying to get back at him. Time to move on my friend. At every company there is an Al Lustig or two (or three). That is life in the corporate world. Enough with the secret recordings cloak and dagger you don't know mission impossible nonsense. Move on-life is too short.

Does it matter -he will be gone soon like the thousands before him, and Pfizer and all it's employees will move on. Just like any other company.

Two more examples of Al's stellar business acumen/managerial skills:

    1) I remember Al coming to one of our district POAs about 5 or 6 years ago. During lunch I told him about the challenges we were having getting decent attendance at Viagra and Detrol programs and how the 3 doctors who were showing up were a waste of $1200-$1500 because they were semi-retired or just very very low volume docs. I asked him if there was any consideration to perhaps taking some, not all, but some of the program budget and in some territories giving the option of putting that money in the rep's lunch budget to do more face to face. I felt confident this would be a better strategy in my territory and I'm sure others. In other words, I expressed concern for our ROI on these programs and suggested an alternative. A few days later, my DM told me that Al told him that he should have a talk with me and straighten me out because according to him, I didn't believe in medical education. My reaction to my DM, who I had a great relationship with, was: "Is he a fucking idiot? Did he even listen to what I was trying to tell him?" The advice my DM gave me was to not talk to Al about any concerns I had about how we were doing business. About 9 months later Pfizer stopped all Viagra and Detrol programs because of a lack of ROI.

    2) At another POA my DM was covering the latest national sales results for the ED market. The graph showed the continued downward slide for Viagra while Levitra and especially Cialis were gaining. At the time we were using the hardness and satisfaction message for the last 2 years. My counterpart raises his hand and asks our DM and Al, if they've had an opportunity to sit in marketing meetings, and if so, what is marketing telling them regarding the hardness and satisfaction message that after 2 years and sales trends that are not in our favor, they're sticking with the same message? It was a very reasonable question. Al turns to my buddy and says, "Well what are you using? Do you have any better ideas?" It was awkward and embarrassing let alone intimidating to anyone else who wanted to ask a question. Rather than acknowledge the legitimate concern and give an intelligent appropriate response, Al had nothing. True story.

Al- refer to 3 pages of previous posts.
Slander, defamation of character, etc. There are already cases that have been recorded. Why am I telling all of you? You will all see. There have been one on one accounts that are on video with audio recording that could affect Mr Lustig's pristine image at Pfizer. If the lawyers know of it and what it contains, Mr Lustig may be praying that they do not touch his precious pension. Oh, and by the way for all you simple-minded defenders of Al, some of this was brought up in a minor way and Pfizer legal counsel dismissed it. They did not see al of it because Mr. Lustig was too protected. However, these allegations were discussed with legal counsel outside of Pfizer and they are chomping at the bit. It will regard issues not tied to Pfizer and Mr Lustig will not want Pfizer involved. I've already said too much.We await the retirement date.
