Has anyone been put on a performance plan on the Aptiom side? Word is they are coming.

God I hope they put close to 90% of the aptiom specialists on a PIP. They have given up and don't even try to hide it. Heck, just track their days for a couple weeks and we could fire half of them. Do you think any of them are working more than the equivalent of 2 days a week? Who ever hired these bozo's should be chopped too. Pathetic is really what it is. No effort and all they do is bad mouth the company. Chop them all I say!!!

Amen. The RBM's are also horrible. There are a few that were never even RBM's until they were hired here. How can you launch a drug and hire reps from another company to come here to be RBM's? That is just plain foolish. Who allowed that? I mean really! Who the hell allowed that??

The blind leading the blind. 3 ring circus.... Very laughable.

Accurate numbers here are a myth. Does anyone remember waiting for months for corp to correct the numbers. Apparently, we were not getting credit for mail order. After weeks of waiting nothing changed.

Buckets , who can can who is performing and who is not? Do well, we change your bucket. If I did well in a bucket 2 and got moved to a 1 am I now a bad rep.

Many DMs were not previously managers. In addition, Chris Fanale never managed anyone. Who is going to write the PIP?

With everyone looking to leave do you really want to invest time in chasing the out the door? Just give them a bucket 1.

Bad product, bad management, poor marketing, worse studies. Sure put people on PIPs

Aptiom specialist here. Most everything posted above is absolutely 100% true. I busted my a$$ at launch and so as not to give myself away I will just say I was a top performer not only in my region but the nation. I worked tirelessly and it was difficult. The product is terrible but I was able to use my relationships to get Rx's. In the grand scheme of things the Rx's I actually got were small and some would say pathetic but compared to others in the region and nation I was in the top 15%. Many others in my region gave up after one month. Doctors hated the product and it was hard to argue that fact. I continued to push through and scrap for scripts. Others just gave up and continue to work very little and just look for another job. I was put into a bucket 1 and that made me give up. Why was I penalized for working my a$$ off at launch. You'd think I'd be rewarded. So the bucket system has done the opposite of what it was intended to do. It has demotivated the hard workers that got results while not motivating the slouches who gave up only months after launch. Great idea Sunovion.

One final comment on the RBM's. Yes, a few were hired her to be managers from rep roles at their prior co's. This was a really bad mistake. My RBM is clueless. Not a leader and more concerned during launch about having his people like him as opposed to guiding them on where their business is and coaching them on how to sell and close. In short time the specialists were running the region. It just deteriorated from there. How on earth could anyone hire reps to be managers and bring them to a new company to launch a product in a generic class. It was a recipe for failure and disaster from the start.

The biggest joke? Monotherapy will save this product. Anyone who is in the field knows that will not happen.

And for all the reasons stated above, I am sitting at a coffee shop on my personal ipad at 11:30 am on a Tuesday waiting for the early afternoon showing of American Sniper. I'm sure many other Aptiom specialists are doing something similar.

DUDE! WTF? Shut your mouth or we'll all be put on PIP's and micro managed before this calamity all comes crashing down. You've just made it a lot tougher to coast until the inevitable end. What is your problem anyway. So you go suckered into coming here. Why not shut up and work your 15 hours while enjoying life and looking for another job. Your post has made it harder for any of us to do that. You are an idiot!

    do not worry if.

the stock losing 33% in the past year does not matter to investors
the numerous vacancies, in every dept in corporate, do not raise concerns
    the flat growth numbers
reps leaving, or looking to leave
    the lack of messaging
poor metrics, the only reps recording call are faking them
the extreme amount of money spent on programs, lunches, webcasts
management leaving (see all of Latuda management)
    the very high Aptiom salaries

has not waken anyone up yet do not worry. DSP is asleep at the wheel. Enjoy this for as long as it lasts. It will be impossible to find a company this inept in the future and your career intermission is safe.

Haven't you been keeping up with the news from HQ? I am on the case. Changes are happening for the better daily. Great new managers in place and we are days away from getting sushi back on the menup in Marlborough. Change doesn't occur overnight.

    Swoooosh!

Above poster, you are my hero! Balls to the wall dead on post. Might I suggest to you a recommendation for your Friday matinea movie? I highly recommend Inherent Vice. I saw that this afternoon. Show ended at 2:30 so I had time to get a nice work out in and then enter my fake calls for the day.

And that is why you and many of your fellow Aptiom reps will be gone by mid summer.

no way we are done anyime soon, despite flat growth in a launch mode and extreme amounts of money spent by reps etc we will not be going anywhere.

Best job in pharma, sell a drug that should not have been approved and has no market. then you get to annoy physicians and talk about the very, very minimal differences from generic Trileptal. Fake calls as management screams about metrics, want another 2 calls per day no problem. I would like to see the balance sheet showing revenue and expenses.

the collecting of data is so bad and goals are just stupid (bucket system anyone?)

Lets keep this charade going as long as possible, best job ever

My friend works for Sunovion and he was just put on a "plan".... His numbers were in the mid to high 90s but was still put on a plan..... How subjective is a mgr allowed to be????? Other people are way below him on the rank sheets .... Not understanding how this can inspire morale. I heard great things about Sunovion but this does not match up...

High 90's is not attaining goal. You don't attain goal, you don't continue to enjoy a paycheck!
    Got it?

I know abouth this particular situation firsthand. I heard your friend can really sing. I was told that Mr G-man heard that your friend was trash talking G-man on his singing ability (or lack of). If that wasn't bad enough, he also said that nobody that requires a step stool to sing should ever be the front man for a band. That was the final straw! Tell your friend to dust off the resume.
