This sucks. we pretty much get screwed in every way possible if we are kept. Worse benefits, wrose vacation, worse severance, worse everything! I have been here less than 2 years so I am not getting the pay day you all do. I pray they let me raise my hand as I will find somewhere better. Can someone please tell me one positive about Valeant? Just one!
Damn, just found out about the vacation deal. I lose 2 weeks. Had a nice vacation planned in July.......got to change it.
I highly doubt I'll be working under Shaun Haggerty anymore if this plays out the way I am hoping it does. Id happily give up 2 weeks of vacation not to have to work under that un-qualified, clueless ass-clown anymore. That's one positive thing that may come out of this.
You better watch yourself...Shaun is the best manager this company has. I'm pretty sure he will get promoted during this expansion. If he doesn't he should. All his reps love him and he's a true leader! Leaders always come out on top. This willow may bend but it won't break! Salix strong!!!!
I'm just curious.... What kind of vacation can't you take with 3 weeks? Good luck finding somewhere that you get 5 weeks. Also, with your Salix PTO, you never took a sick day for you or your family? Most companies have separate sick days that aren't rolled into your PTO. Based on your comments, I assume that you weren't one of the complainers about Salix?? I told you... The grass is not always greener.

My manager said we would be paid out for any earned PTO time with Salix. Once merger takes place you start over earning time with Valiant.
If I get laid off can I keep my cracked iPad? How about my printer that hasn't ever actually worked? I didn't see these questions in my FAQ and could have sworn those questions were asked right after "how much pto will i get" Jen can we get some clarification on this please? I need to know whether to start early my browser/porn history or if I'll be able to keep my favorites on my iPad.
