What Caused Odyssey's Failure?

    I never got the impression that Odyssey wanted to be or planned to be a real pharm company! I think they planned, from the beginning, to gain some marketshare for their lone product and sell it. There was never anything in the pipeline, never any plans to but more products in our bag... I think it was a grow and sell plan from the start.

    Wrong. I was inside. How you could POSSIBLY say 'There were never any aquisition plans'? You clearly were in the field and are simply speculating.

    The failure was the STRATEGY (and those who thought they could lead).

    The drug I had fun with was Urecholine....doctors actually wrote scripts for that....I dontg remember if it was Odyssey or Esprit but there was one rep who never made sales calls....just signed the tablet himself...got busted...cost a lot of money
