Considering a position with region distributor
Why the massive turnover I've heard of?

Be weary of this geography as there is a transition to new "leadership"

The turnover is multifactorial, but the timing of key departures is not pure coincidence.

If you are mentally inept and physically incapable of getting into CRM (real mans game) then Stryker is your best bet sweetie pie!

What is the reason for the turnover? Are people leaving on their own accord or is Stryker laying them off? I can't find anything about the turnover except for here.

turnover in multiple divisions related to concerns over northeast leadership. not to many years left in the game so you need to have fun and make money while you can.

Losing/laying off people is a part of doing business. Sad-Yes; Frustrating-Yes.

Why else is a 25 year old with no experience getting the job of a 40 year old laid off employee with tons of experience?
Why else do companies continue to downsize in the name of operational efficiencies?
Why else did the SYK share price rise by 20% over the last year?

If losing people equated to company performance then we would all have secure jobs and no turnover other than the turnover that comes from retirement.

At the end of the day, 'shareholder value' is all that matters. How high can you go and how 'efficient' can you get.

Companies move on - people are left behind in the process.

How an AVP can still have a job after years of losing quality people to the competition is astounding. How many millions in sales and customers have to leave before the President looks below himself and takes action. CEO and Ortho President are letting down the employees and shareholders.

Northeast is a bunch of low level box openers. Of course they are leaving, WalMart is hiring! The West reps would run circles around these self important clowns

Since when does a distributor outrank an AVP and VP of sales? Spineless
