This guys is impressive. He started working his Soph or Junior year in college. If he instead paid attention in school he would have learned how to spell.

Look man. What the hell were you doing when you were 23? Still in english class at your crappy university? (racking up debt and buying fat 5's lemon drops at the college bars)
Meanwhile, I was going to sleep early and getting in the OR 5 hours before your first class.
So surprising to me how ridiculously lazy most medical device reps are. For being among the highest earning sales reps in any industry, i'm blown away of the stupidity and ignorance of most med reps. Recon guys in ortho are the worst. I'm in recon, but I bite my tongue all the time around you all. That's why everyone complains about declining reimbursements: one track mind of stupidity. Synthes Reps are the only ones worse than us; they can only restock screw caddies and can't sell a cheeseburger to a fat kid.

There's still plenty of money to be made. Utilize the relationships the Stryker brand gave us to take on other lines, use the fat wallets of surgeons to invest in one of your start-ups. Invent something that saves hospitals money and use the distribution network you have to pilot it and scale it utilizing your access to other distributors. Then sell off to big ortho and retire. Who has all the cash? Zimmer spent $10 billion CASH for Biomet. Don't you think they can afford a few million to buy your creative and well distributed line? It's so easy, but you have to be creative first, hard working second. Which is why 99% of reps just complain.

Going on 11th year in device sales. Started at 23 with NO degree. Guess what, still NO degree and never been hassled. Make them money and they could care less what it says on any sheet of paper.
