If they are going to place these cut DCOs in other jobs, the whole thing
    is a exercise in futility…

so these DCO's get a new title, get to keep their crazy inflated salaries and benefits for
life, and still do little to nothing of value…

    nice progress Merck…

    FU MERCK!

This always happens. They move dco's, mae's, mscam's around during cuts. We all know these are 200-350k "bathrobe" jobs. At least the newly formed medical affairs directors have to put a tie on twice per month to see customers. This hole is truly run like the government. Most reps have never heard of or seen anyone in these bathrobe jobs. Ask a customer and they will say "never heard or seen him/her". They ALL majically appear with notepad in hand at region meetings while sitting in the back of the room. Come on butcher, if you are serious you will hatchett all of these bogus positions.

You left out the infamous NAE's. Another bathrobe job working 10 hours per week.

24 of the 33 landed a job in Merck. Read the whole email.

My DCO in Ohio "raised his hand" to "voluntarily retire" a few months ago. It was laughable. I didn't know that Merck spells "retire" F-I-R-E-D. Bye bye, Stevie Boy. Nobody misses you.

I retired from Merck years ago. Is it a crime to still care?
