Eliquis....... proof that Plavix sold itself and the Pfizer marketing machine is dead.

Yeah if I had NVAF and I could take a SUPERIOR drug I wouldn't because its B.I.D. Eliquis is the biggest no-brainier on the planet!!

No one cares. It's about convenience to the system, not the patient. Put it in another novel release system for QD dosing and re-launch.

This drug truly says something about pharmaceutical sales reps in 2013. We have no more influence. The data is amazing and much better then competition! However, 99% of doctors don't see reps anymore, and they are to busy to read the data. If Eliquis fails this will be a turning point for the entire industry that reps are dead.

You are right!! I would have killed to have had a drug like this 15 years ago! Data is awesome--if we can't sell this than we are truly done!!

Hospital rep here sent in to save the current Pfizer hospital reps and the Primary Care reps who are old and an embarrassment to the job. They don't have a clue about the disease state and don't know anything about selling in a specialty division.

Here is a great example: Doc you know I have no clue about NVAF, but I have Viagra samples so can you sign here.

Good job Pfizer Primary Care reps. You suck and are an embarrassment to the rest of us.

Primary rats sell Viagra for pulmonary arterial hypertension in those offices, off- err, on-label. It's called customer-focused portfolio selling.

We have no therapeutic expertise / credibility any longer. The notion that reps could be bounced from CARDs to Psychs to PCs to Uros to OB to CARDs was ludicrous. No one knows who Pfizer Reps are anymore including them. Start stealing paper goods now,... It's over Johnny.

It illustrates the fact that Pfizer clearly recognizes that reps have very little influence over prescribing behavior today (and for the past decade).

I don't mean this as an insult to pharma reps, it's just the way the industry has evolved. Poor access to physicians, formulary restrictions, prescribing habits of physicians being "graded" by their employers, Pharmacies encouraging generic switching, the availability of good generic drugs, Obama care, the list goes on and on.
A drug rep does'nt stand a chance anymore.

You, or other arrogant IR, wrote post after post about how bad the Vaccine Reps were. Now you're doing it about the Cluster 2 Reps. You are a cancer.

Most E Reps are rock solid and deliver strong on label messages. You started selling the drug 11 days ago. What do you know? 11 days....seriously get over yourself.

I've seen Reps like you, they're the ones that get offices shut down, or discourage Docs from seeing Reps again. You are a disgrace.

Janssen rep here. No influence over prescribers? Wrong.
Pfizer approaches business the same way it always has.
Mass message. Lots of voices out there. Convert to Pfizer!
    Ha. How's that working?
Where's the value the rep or drug brings?
We seem to have figured it out. Why is Xarelto outpacing warfarin????
Eliq? You aren't and haven't been competition. Ever. Warfarin is. Another mistake by your management btw. Don't worry about Xa. Get business from warfarin bc there's enough to go around.
And yes QD and multiple indications don't hurt but I personally take great pleasure in seeing Pfizer flounder. Honesty. I work hard but I try harder knowing it hurts Pfizer.
Love hearing how the pushy Pfizer reps are wearing my prescribers patients thin...
    Good luck out there.

    You're kidding yourself.
You're not as good as you like to think you are. You're still just a drug rep who watches your Doctors sign through a glass window. You're not the influencer.
Get you head out of the clouds....the gig is about to blow up on you too.

If you're with Janssen, you were not good enough to be hired by Pfizer.
Face it, Janssen Boy....you're grabbing onto to the slight glimmer of victory you've had in your career. Pfizer has dominated this industry for years, and you're a jealous son of a bitch!! LOL

Actually, JNJ is the better and bigger company now. Fact check. JNJ up; Pfizer down (free fall, actually).

you're still going to get laid off. So enjoy your moment of glory while you have it.

If you're still hanging around this industry and gloating about your "rank" among other Drug companies you're simply stupid. Move on if you have any talent (as you think you do)

Ooh. Did I hit a nerve Mr Pfizer?! I don't get signatures and certainly not through windows monkey boy. I am a hospital rep. Influencing protocols and getting drug stocked in the ED Pyxis. You know, moving books of business instead of pages of business and partnering with C suite folks (look up what C suite means).

So regurge whatever they tell you. It must be working since BMS and Pfizer had to lower their guidance not once but twice (50% each time).

It will be ok if "it all blows up" Nostradamus. I mean, I'll be ok. Not sure there's a big market for you and your kind. Real free thinkers at Pfizer. They WERE dominant. Its been a WHILE since your good old days.

Pssst. I was Parke Davis before Pfizer bought them. I made sure to get the eff outta there. I will never. Ever. Lower myself to work Pfizer.

Give it up already. Only a few nutjobs left at Pfizer who would think it is a great company. The only think great was the size of the egos and arrogance of the people who would come to ruin the company. Its no secret that Pfizer's been circling the drain for the last decade +.
