Just heard from a person that works for one of the large "close-out" companies that they need to ensure that they have proper staffing levels in place NOW because Pfizer has a big layoff coming. The person said in the email that Pfizer was named specifically. Take it for what it is worth!

This seems reasonable to assume that they would not wait until Lipitor LOE. They learned the hard way not to cut people right before the holidays because of public relations. So anytime now would make sense to me.

of course it is coming..anyone who says otherwise is smoking dope! Look at the products coming off patent, especially Lipitor and nothing to replace it. For those of you who say no way because our leadership has said so....yeah well Hilter promised Chamberlain "peace in our time" and look what happened! Ian Reed will be under tremendous pressure to do something and since it takes numerous years to bring a compound from the bench to market, how does one become more profitable....cut expenses !! With so many reps unemployed, they will be willing to work for a contract company for atleast 50-60% off of their former salary.

    Polish up your resume!
