Which is the reason why neither of you run a business. Operate at a loss vs being profitable. No brainer. So management is actually making you accountable and actually sell vs dumping samples. The door is wide open... please exit any time as I am sure there are more qualified people to follow

"Sell" samples eh? Hmmm.... let's start with a quick definition for you. "Sell" is a verb meaning to sell, or exchange something for money or other goods. So encouraging the "sell" of samples seems to be problematic and concerning for ethical, legal, regulatory, etc. reasons. As you said, there's more qualified people that understand these basics so you should probably take your own advice and exit stage left.
