This place is so screwed up! Another year of wrong forecasts which trickles down to ridiculous goal setting. No transparency on the process and complete imbalance with formulary access across the country. It's beyond fair and is now looking more like a company that is playing financial games. Complete scam!

The forecast does seem to be all over the place lately, especially with the whole $1 more speech from JR. What's up with that?

Run for the hills, the game is over! Management is awful and clueless. With that type of leadership, how can this company ever be a winner? EL is the worst manager at Astellas

One thing that will remain constant is that Texas and Florida will continue to win most of the awards. I guess they are just superior salespeople compared to the West and Northeast.

The answer to this quagmire is to bring back David Boyd to the sales force. After a few months a large majority of reps will be gone. Yeah real leadership begins with total narcissism.

Correct. It's people like DB that have turned this company into a farce. Life is too short. Time to leave this suffocating company.

And the sad thing is they discount to get contracts down there and they use the rest of the country's scripts that are paid at a higher rate because of the lack of discounting and they use those $$$ to pretty much subsidize getting better contracts down there. Oh, and they pay your bonus to them and you get zero!! There are tons if people not even making or qualifying for bonus anymore because the goals are unrealistic.

This unbalance of quotas and territories has been going on for years. Problem is that sales management is too stupid to evaluate other IC plans in order to make it fair for all of us. So instead, we carry on watching TX and FL win all the awards. This place is beyond a joke at this point. Shame on all of us for sticking around in this awful place. Worst company ever!

There is no equity or fairness. If they wanted to be fair they would pay a standard % of the dollar volume as a bonus. In a former company that's how we were paid and it was more than fair. Here the company makes money, jacks up goals more , and pay you zero bonus. And their attitude is love it or leave it, be happy to have a job. Eventually that will be the demise of Astellas. Too many rats on a sinking ship all grasping for the last straw

We get F'd on a quarterly basis and considered expendable while senior management fills their pockets with PIP and other perks. I think every one of JR's 'boys club' goes on the Summit trip every year! What a scam. Then these F'ers stand up on stage and blow smoke at us! Ra, Ra, Ra bullshit. Classic example of corporate greed, arrogance and abuse.

The IC plan here is unacceptable considering the influence of payer formularies on each territory. The fact that senior management chooses not to address the imbalance is irresponsible and totally unfair. In my area alone, turnover is around 30% and these are good Reps leaving for better opportunities.

I'm in an area with over 50% turnover in the last year. These newer people comeon board and they make zero in bonus since starting.....sad

Interesting how management chooses not to comment on such high turnover rates. I hear same thing is happening at HQ, over 30%. This never used to be the case. Couple years ago turnover was below 10%. Guess this is how management downsizes without having to openly announce it. So much for the "trust" idea!

In my area, we've seen 18-20 Reps gone this year, moved on for other opportunities or were forced out. What is with this place? All we sell are overpriced OAB pills in a generic market, so why is management so f'n crazy!

The bottom 10% are weeded out each year. That is a fact. Don't wait if you are having a bad year. Even previous Summit winners are shown the door... Managed care contracts determine winners and losers.

Not a fact. Look at the full list of Summit rankings from last year or year before. Most of the bottom 10% are still here.

With so much talk about transparency why not ask your RSM about 10% elimination goal. Oh right that information is protected. You really need to look at the national numbers. The truth is simple. It is a fact.

Why/Where are the useless managers going away to at the end of the month? I would love to be a fly on the wall at one of these gatherings of morons. How many people there ever sold a drug in the marketplace? So how could they coach a fkn thing???
