I am an academic PharmD-ID and I am going to kick everyone's ass with generic linezolid.

I killed the Pfizer rep for years knowing the whole time linezolid was superior to vanc in the lung. It's equivalent in skin.

Now, in November I will have multi-source generic pricing for linezolid and it will be our drug of choice for everything gram+. Hell, we may even start using it again in urine.

Regardless, generic linezolid will be our go to first choice workhorse for all gram+ infections and we will use it for empiric therapy, even in CAP.

You can fight for the 1% left.
