How do you like working for this company? How is the culture?

    Honest advice? Seek employment elsewhere.

The US division is the whipping post of this company. Enough profit hasn't been delivered from this 6 years on the market drug (granted, great product, but it's best days are behind it) and the unsellable dogs it has acquired since. SO, the US business is stripped down routinely and there is no investment in it or us. Its in a vicious cycle until a new product with growth potential is brought in, but our leaders don;t want to invest until they see growth - its a catch 22. HQ pissed away our BD war chest to buy Archimedes ($400M) for the European business. Japanese pipeline is a few years out at best. Lots of turnover for different reasons over the years, constant anxiety in our ranks.

    Honest enough? Anyone else?

Do NOT come to work for this company; many people are leaving because the VP of Sales comes from primary care has no ideal of the oncology market. They were paying in the mid 90's but since he came on have dropped the salary to the mid 80's. Sancuso is a good drug but because of the manage care market refusals are up and not a preferred drug of choice so there must be a failure with Zofran. No one is making bonus; you will get a training bonus but after that FORGET it you will NOT make a dime on bonus.

The pipeline is years away and even though they are trying to buy a drug so are many others......................a lot of turmoil and a lot of unhappy people.................

Stay where you are! This is like selling snow balls in Alaska! No resources, no bonus, no support. High quotas, high expectations. If you are on unemployment, come here until you can find a respectable opportunity. Turnover here is out of control!

    How's the training?
    did you feel prepared?
Also, if day to day activity is being modeled after primary care, how is activity tracked and is it realistic?
    Thank you

Training is great, the problem is we have two dog items and now with Eisai coming out with their antiemetic we are definitely screwed...................
