Good solid info that to encourage tenured reps whose total comp over $ 135,00 per year, will give 3 weeks for every year. This to be announced October, 2014, gone by end of the year.

You are correct on the timeline but wrong on the offering - two weeks not three.

Expect some sales rep shuffling before this goes down. I heard they are already slotting some pc and spec reps in certain areas. Ah yes, the usual chosen ones being groomed to survive the aftermath. Plenty of behind the scenes deals happening with those connected. Many, many things happening in October.

 

Offer 3 weeks and those who took the 2 weeks per year offer will sue Mother Merck.

Merck has never been generous. The goal is to minimize expenses. There are ways to force reps to leave and Merck has been very good in doing that.

 

Maybe they will finally get rid of the suck up leadership like Bob Baranick too. Red (Mark Steven's) finally got his pink slip. Says he lifted his hand..... talk about an abrupt departure.

 

Sure hope some of the peeps who are looking, looking, looking for placement get some opportunities before their "not so long" sevarance runs out.....tick. tock
