So let's think about this for a second. If one were to believe what u said were true every single rep hates working at applied medical then why would they keep selling for applied medical and why would people keep buying from reps that seem to hate their jobs then and why would revenues keep going up across the board fyi each year? That's not sound reasoning. I think ur a little upset some people have been coming back at posters that have been responding negatively.

Go check out strikers comp plan straight commission/ Cardinal health, any of these cafe pharma boards it's all negative typically and their vent boards are much worse fyi

Never heard of striker, but if you're referring to Stryker, one of the most well respected and well diversified companies in the medical world, their stock is up over 25% in the past few months. I highly doubt anyone is complaining about their comp plan. Whoever this Applied Medical monkey is that keeps posting, please stop. We all know you are trying to bump the original threads and write complete nonsense so the original points go away. No one clicks the "quote" button to respond. You are doing that in an effort to bump the posts and start a new page.

Fyi - I posted about the Stryker comment originally - and unfortunately auto correct on iPhones - however, you speak as if you are a third party recruiter with other motives with the nice plug for Stryker. If they are such a great and well respected company why do you bitch and complain about what Applied medical offers with pay and benefits yet turn a blind eye to what is universally known about their straight commission pay plan with zero benefits? Such a great company offering no salary and benefits yet applied does?

Also, your point makes no sense about the quotes I think people know how to hit "next" and go to the second and third page, etc. It is more revealing that you get upset with positive comments being made around your negative comments.

(Also, this is under stryker's message board second page under salary I copied and pasted to put it in perspective for you since people bitch on these boards about applied's salaries and benefits which is much better than most. )

Straight commission. Welcome to sales at Stryker. No car allowance or expense account. You eat what you kill but the commissions are worth it. HOO RAH

If these words were spoken at a sales meeting I would call it motivating; poignant is the word that comes to mind.

To the person that mentioned you really doubt people bitch about stryker's comp plan- 1st page under starting pay- on stryker's message board -nothing against Stryker but thought it was worth noting since anyone that looks at resumes a lot will see a lot of Stryker resumes usually because of the straight commission and no benefit plan a lot of times- just wanted to put it in perspective fit people that tend to believe anything they read if you would have taken the previous poster at face value you would never have taken the time to realize how far off they really are in their statements.

Thought this was relevant for the people that bitch and complain about applied's salary and benefits, etc which appear to be much greater than one of the supposed biggest medical companies in the world which isn't shocking yo anyone that looks at resumes a lot since you see the trend in cut backs in pay especially the big med device companies with Obama care.

Associate can start up to $120K if prior earnings were in that range. A 5 year vet with a legit territory probably averages $150-$175 area. No car or expenses are paid. 15 years ago the range was $225-250K

Bbbbbbbbuuuuuuuullllllshit!! 6.5% commission x $1,000,000.00 territory = about $65,000 a year before taxes, car expense and insurance Ect.

    Wayward child,

Don't be mad at this company because you have problems at home. Besides you shouldn't have had that guy pick you up and drive you to the cemetery parking lot that time that you ran away as a teenager. Thank god he was a church boy because when the police arrived you two would have really gotten in trouble. Stryker isn't comparable with Privately owned Applied.

You seem to have a very active imagination and the fact that your brain thinks enough to put that in writing is revealing. You should really get some help soon since it appears you are projecting your past issues on this board so now you are disruntled and bringing your past issues to this board as well.

Also, you or someone brought the issue up that Applied's salary, compensation, and other perks were below industry standard yet you don't want to comment as to why a supposed respectable publcly traded company pays most of the time no salary, benefits, mileage, etc yet Applied does? Its a well known to anyone that reads resumes that the bigger you get as a company they feel they can pay you less typically sometimes. Go look at all of the bigger companies and decide for yourself on Cafepharma.

Just curious you made the statment that you doubt people bitch about Strykers comp well just wanted to show you how far off you were. You can look the big companies all up its basically what these cafepharma boards attract is bitching and complaining.

Applied pays very well! This is a great place to work, run by professionals that only want better patient outcomes

That is awesome that Mr. Hilal decided to write himself this time instead of having one of the trained monkeys do it.

Pays Well = yes, to family members and very, very close friends brought in.

Great Place to Work = True, once again for those related or very close, they don't get fired they just get moved around year after year.

Run by Professionals = that is funny, could you even keep a straight face typing that one. Classic coming from the one who storms out of dinners or yells at gardeners (that was the best part of Leadership Training that day).

The big companies pay you to perform, not keep you in the plantation. How much more could you make if you wern't ryong on someone to oay for the things you could jay for yourself. Say what you want about the comp plan, but the flea at Stryjer are paid to perform & they do just that

if you want big money in sales you want straight comish. Applied is a steeping stone . The value the rep has are the relationships . Applied owners are entitled to pay themselves or any one they want what they want. Stop complaining an d create your own destiny. If you don't like it leave. Great way to get in the business. Invest your earnings into assets that will create cash flow.
