In the midwest it is always "someone else's fault"

MVID will never be fixed until the rascals follow the path of the stooges out the door. Then rebuilding will have to begin with trust and respect being 2 of the major things needing to be installed not instilled into everyone still left. Only then will there be any hope for a future.

We are the Domino's pizza of the vaccine industry before they changed their crappy pizza recipe. Until we change our recipe of hiring inexperienced suck ups in their late 30's to early 40's who have not spent any significant time around vaccines (selling, marketing, managing, analyzing), we will be last in the minds of our customers when it comes to purchasing vaccines. Nobody wants to buy an overpriced pizza that tastes bad in a restaurant that is managed poorly when they can get better pizza and service somewhere else. The same applies to MVID.

MVD was built from the bottom up. MVID was built willy nilly by tablet people eager to get a piece of the action without knowing anything about the products or division they came in and took over. The only thing saving MVID is the lack of competition for some of the products. When that finally happens, watch out!

MVD is Coke and MVID is Coke II. Coke II is no longer on the market because a majority of people liked the original.

Too bad we cannot do that here. It would be the 1st step to regaining respect and credibility, both lost when MVD's winning formula was changed by a bunch of losers from the other side of Merck.

The tablet chuckers merely looked at MVD as a place to dig in their claws and look what happened.

GPO/PO contracts, pediatric vaccines, VFC and competition are like kryptonite to them.

Todd and the rascals will probably be gone within 4 years. If Zostavax has another bad year, make it 2.

They dug in their claws and tore it up.

The formula may get even worse with the new outsiders Dr. Gerberding and Todd Nichols mixing things up. It's so frustrating to watch a good thing get mucked up worse and worse every year.

Until the stocks drops again, don't expect anymore positve change for us. Meanwhile, the leadership when continue to promote themselves and exercise more options for themselves and make the rest of us feel ungrateful for not being happy for them.

Retail pharmacists are going to hate us this year. Thanks for shortening the sales cycle in 2011 so you can shorten the amount of bonus we get in 2013 leadership.

Maybe its just me, but I don't understand why retail pharmacists will hate us this year...please explain.

Go away troll. If you can't figure it out, you don't need to know.

Wow, touchy, touchy. So routine supply will make them mad? Performance based discounts will piss them off? A big DTC campaign that will send patients in asking for the vaccines will push them over a cliff?

i'm not rocket scientist like you, but i think 2012 could be a descent year for once with Zostavax....for those who have been with this vaccine since launch, they know what I mean.
