What a complete invasion of privacy with outdated policies regarding marijuana use, and then these assholes go one step further and implement a random HAIR test? Shame on you. I have nothing but resentment for this company. Here we are in 2014 where Marijuana is legal for recreational use in 2 states, and 23 for medical use. I certainly don't condone habitual use of marijuana or alcohol, but whatever people do with these two things on their own time, so be it.
With the comedic skills and wit you just demonstrated, you should become a professional stand up comedian.
Dear dummy: Cardinal wants to protect others from any chemically altered behavior, especially if you're high or drunk--which seems to be your situation. If you are driving a fleet vehicle, they don't want you to cause an accident or kill someone. If working in a DC, they don't want you maiming the innocent with a fork-lift. Cardinal definitely doesn't want to pay innocent victims millions because of your irresponsible actions. Selfish morons like you need to remain on welfare and food stamps where your ability to harm others will be restricted. Collecting bottles and cans to support your pot jones suits you just fine. We don't want or need a nimrod like you further f**king up this place....stay away, please. Of all the tweets, blogs, e mails, and posts I've read over the years, yours comes in first place in the "head stuck firmly up one's ass" category.
Dear Moron, What a person does in their own personal time is a matter of privacy. Please stay in the middle region of the United States and kill yourself.
It's a standard 5 panel test that tests for marijuana, cocaine, etc... What are the chances of getting picked for this intrusive random test anyways? How many people do they select every quarter? Also just to give everyone a heads up, you'd have to smoke marijuana ONCE PER WEEK before detection was plausible. THC doesn't easily incorporate into the hair, and there are a handful of studies on Google that prove this.
The lab that conducts the testing is irrelevant since they all have a THC cutoff of 1pg/mg. Psychemedics has a great marketing department, but the truth remains, their hair test is the same as every other labs.
How do they pick? Does your boss pick or Cardinal Corporate? Is it mostly in the warehouse or the sales force?
