"Residence within the current geography or within 10 miles of boarder"

Seeing this appear with plenty of pharma companies ads looking for reps..
(yep, managers can travel a bit more, but not much...)

Heard we want folks to live within their immediate territory too...makes sense!

.....it cuts out the bridges, traffic backlogs, stranded winter travel, wasted money in tolls, bridges, gas and parking......and biggest of all, the losses in TIME! Who really makes it to the offices.....with that thing called F&R.

How will this really play out with the cuts coming around the corner ?

This will play a role in the layoffs. A project was done to plot rep's home zip code relevant to call deck zip code proximity. You can do this yourself using Google maps although HQ used an analytic program.

If your home zip falls outside of what you see advertised (and in post 1) for your territory you are in serious jeopardy.

Sounds like lots of checker board moves should occur!

People moving away from areas they may have served for awhile...but had tough travels. bad commutes.

Sounds like a return to sanity IF the analytic program looked at traffic, gridlocks, bridges and the like!l!
