Talk about rock bottom - Shire RM is at rock bottom and about to go away with the CMS changes. You have 4 months left. Enjoy the clinical hours while you can.

There will be 2 approved products that will be reimbusred fully...Apligraf and Dermagraft...because they are PMA approved products and Mimedx and these ex-ABH cronies are going down by the FDA and LEGAL...good luck bitches!

Sure...CMS is going to pick the two most expensive products as their go to agents of choice. On a per treated ulcer basis, CMS states that Dermagraft is the most expensive of all at around $8,000 per ulcer. Sounds like just what Obamacare is looking to do - choose the most expensive product and run with it.

Keep dreaming. Read the CMS document. It is over.

I love these Mimedx bitches who think they are above the world...its coming for you guys and you know it....FDA is after you and LEGAL will be after some reps...you can't keep paying DPM's at the VA's mortgages and expect no one to know...Ex-ABH and Mimedx are going down! Proof is in the pudding

PMA products versus 510k baby! Your products don't heal a thing!

This person came from Shire - pill pusher. Who talks like that? A marketing person. Keep giving out your Shire Cares handouts.

Everyone will go away in 2014. Don't read the internal Shire emails. Read what the government has already published and put into motion.

The "untitled" FDA letter is regarding the micronization process. This would apply to injectables, not grafts. The FDA cleared the plant roughly a year before the letter was sent.

I guess this should be a new thread, but are there any posts or cites that deal with the tech ops folks, or is this site exclusively for the pompous gas bag, sniveling crybabies of the sales farce?

tech ops, Shire Dermagraft reps - same thing. I would bet tech ops could sell more product than Shire RM. They certainly couldn't do worse. The only difference between these groups would be that tech ops will be around in 2014 and Shire RM will not - oh, unless pharma hacks can change the direction of Obamacare and CMS. My guess is...no.

Nothing to do with the grafts at all......and it won't affect the micronized product when it is all said and done. Just keep slapping on 38 sq cm when the wound only needs about 4. Then charge 1600 a pop for each graft. Dermagraft is the most expensive product on the market with the most amount of waste! You're all screwed. There are numerous new technologies with multiple sizes, multiple uses, better cost to closure.

Looks like some old pissed off ABH reps have their feelings hurt...go payy off some doctors with the sinking ship of Mimedx or Bellevue since you obviously can't seel a thing...good luck with the FDA letter...there is more to come ass holes!

Yep...The more to come is the closing of Shire RM in 2014. Read the CMS letter. Closed.

Actually these grafts sell themselves. Your 15 year old technology, freezers, and 30% heal rate have the doctors calling us to switch over. The "untitled letter" is just a miscommunication that most likely came from Shire lobbying and crying that their business was stolen......all be it by a better and more efficient technology.

We are so screwed. Mimedx reps already using CMS to their advantage.

Dermacrap, Aplicrap...BYE BYE!!! There is a reason EpiFix is the product that continues to take your business...it is called a MORE advanced therapy boys and girls. Guess what, it actually closes the wounds you schleps have been monkeying around with for months. Good time to take out your local MiMedix rep for a beer and get to know them, because in 4 months you my friends will be looking for a job as MiMedx continues to expand its sales force!!!

To add dermagraft has the lowest 100% closure rate than anything on the market as well as the 3 competitors coming to market soon. RM was a $750 million waste. And the ADHD BU had to take it up the tailpipe to fund it

What new technology? Something that heals even faster with less applications? Some of us in RM would like to interview with them. what is the company?

what happened to all the chest pounding on this board about PMA products and their superiority? sounds like CMS looks has decided to focus on price, not regulatory pathway.
