So we find out McGaw Park was 'annexed' and being taken over by a development company from a newspaper article??? What a joke the mgmt is here. Supposedly all but 2 of the buildings are being demolished. The 2 remaining are being remodeled and are being sold to another company who is expanding. So, is this finally the long awaited death of CAH in McGaw Park? Knew eventually everything would go to Dublin, but wouldn't it be nice if for once our crappy leadership would communicate?!? This company has NO respect for their employees. What a joke. The only good news is maybe MK will finally get canned, which is long overdue. Once that happens, there will be celebrating in the streets. He and DC have destroyed what was once a highly respected and successful med surg business. Those idiots have no idea what they are doing. Since the latest horrific reorg there is NO communication, customers are fed up with us, everyone is looking for new jobs, zero faith in management, and leadership is AWOL. George - do you have ANY IDEA of the total cluster that is medical??? Can't you see the smoke and smell the fire from Dublin??

No doubt......many teams were told meetings would alternate between Dublin and McGaw and that never mareialized. When's the last time you saw a CAH HR Svp at Waukegan.....when she showed she sat with others from Dublin......people focused ?!?

It is strange the lack of basic employee communications. One of the few execs who walked around frequently and said hello to people in other groups ( as she did not have a group in McGaw ) left out of various frustrations.

You nailed it! MK and DC must go but not soon enough as hundreds of others will leave in frustration. Will be out of here soon as I HATE it here due to the CLUSTER_FUCK reorganization we are all forced to endure. HATE MY JOB and ORGASMIC over leaving soon-which is imminent, praise the Lord!

Wildcats just might pull off the upset and ruin DC's Saturday. Every ND loss really irks this POS. A five loss season for the Irish would be MAJICAL and turn the fair-haired boy a little more gray.

Sounds like you will be one of the lucky ones. I should have started looking many months ago, but stupidly held out hope they would finally get this right. After the reorg and it turned out this evil clown MK was running the show i knew it was time. He has been a disaster for so long, but sucks up so well that he survives. He destroyed Surgical, took care of his precious low margin Nursing with low/negative quotas, pushed Presource into the final abyss and now has distribution? !? Or what is left of that gutted division. He is a small, nasty, angry guy - definitely has a personality disorder. I'm starting to get a lot of interviews, but it slows down this time of year. Will enjoy the family during the holiday season, and plan on getting out within a few months. HATE my job, and can't get out too fast.

Pharma Segment ' s Red Oak with CVS is in Boston. If Med consolidates too much in Dublin for cost reduction they will get more and more group think and won't attract talent.

Management and share holders love the current processes, but that is a horse CAH can only ride for so long before the horse throws them and kicks them in the face.

Here's to GB, DC and MK catching a hoof in the face!

Irish coaching decisions almost as bad as what we're enduring here. Maybe a bid to the Toilet Bowl if they're lucky? we're circling the shitter as a sales force thanks to DC, MK, and their suck-ups. Happy Thanksgiving.

Google McGaw Park, Waukegan and see Tribune article from 2013 on looking to have 700 people and two buildings. Not sure latest news. Doubt the Waukegan East massive bunker IT center would get moved anytime soon.

Wait, so this whole thread is based on an article that's a year+ old? Way to stay on top of industry news, people...

Wrong article - that is old. Google Waukegan, annex and Cardinal Health. It was in the Lake County News Sun on November 13.

So...?!? Maybe a decent restaurant, shops other businesses on the site. That IT Center in the old DS building is going no where. This is a tempest in a teapot folks. Comical to see the college football related comments on this thread. CAH IS sooooo MIDWEST FOCUSED. Most employees could care less.
