From what I understand, the mgr. position is open too and the director for the area is a jerk. He's mentioned in another thread. Any truth to these rumors? Overall, things look a little shakey.
The reason for the opening is due to the last rep passing away due to a freak, unfortunate accident. He was a hell of a rep and well respected among his peers and accounts. These will be BIG shoes to fill.
Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this. There were some serious issues that led to this opening and its going to hang over the companies head for a long time; at least in this area.
Nobody makes $200k or more in this division. At the start of the year, we all took 10% pay cuts. Expect 120-130k as a 1st year rep.

Incorrect sir.....the MANAGER out of Milwaukee passed away in a tragic accident. The MN rep. position is open due to the reasons mentioned in this thread.
Do not join ... VP of Sales is a wanna be leader and got his job by default. You should see his man boobs in a t shirt. He wasn't even a good rep or manager - just kinda got job. Run - run. Most leaders are yes men - losers.
