Wise up nimrods. The "code of conduct" is a load of crap. It's a vague BS policy that is left to the interpretation of management to manipulate situations when they have their own personal agendas. When someone is fired and the EEOC steps in, they hide behind those three letters in an attempt to prove management did nothing wrong. It's a license to be an Asshole. And forget their policy on protecting employees when an internal investigation in launched. If management has already laid the ground work of code violations, all it means is your job is safe for about a week.

It's sad. For a company that prides itself on innovation they sure are clueless on what being great means. The lack of oxygen for having their heads in the clouds in evident. They have the reputation for treating their employees like shit and that's why they will NEVER be #1.

I hope they get what is coming to them. The company is a joke and technology can only get you so far. They need to get their checkbook out and pay up. The HR department is also corrupt. And btw- the women who have joined the laswsuit aren't underperfomers.. Some are still there kicking @@@ and taking names.

You and others in this board are missing the point. It is not about BSC and how they do business and treat employees. It is all about the management that is supported and protected with bunch of litigation law firms who make money on this organization.
To pay up to these ladies for obtaining their rightfully rights and closing this case is another way of concealing crimes against humanity. Unfortunately their representative law firm is also part of the same system that collects and pass on the buck to the employees of Boston Scientific, the ladies who are part of this class be lucky to walk out with any chunk of change considering payoff after all legal fees are paid. They should have asked for more than what they asked for, and should have requested a federal investigation into this matter. That would be when someone would bring a light to the subject and make sure others do not follow the footsteps of this criminal organization called BSX.
They sure give a new meaning to terrorism, you should hear some of the people who are there now and worried about their job security. If you do not believe ask around.

actually the legal fees are not part of the lawsuit that was filed. They will sue separate for those and they won't come out of the settlement the ladies get. Just because it is at $50mm now doesn't mean it won't go higher either. I am guessing it will be similar to the one w Merck.

BSX can afford it. They have millions of $. set aside for clowns like these. that is normal part of doing business now days. This is nothing new for the corporate and the law firms behind it. These things happen every day around the globe and since there is no patient safety issue involved it will be all paid for and put to rest. Life goes on.
