HCV

Got a call from a recruiter about an opening in this division. They said no drug until June so will be promoting an HIV drug in the meantime. It seems like from some of the threads I've found that this might not be the place to be. Can someone give some insight. Thanks.

Here is exactly what will happen with the HCV sales force.
1. The drug will launch
2. Each rep will get about 10-15 scripts,
3. GIL will come out with there own type of DSV
4. The sales reps will become irrelevant
5. BN and CV will change divisions saying they aren't leaving because it is a sinking ship, but bc is part of their developmental plan.
6.Then new management will come in and lay us off.

it is obvious that is what will happen. They can't even commit to the trio. You know we will get that call saying they decided not to launch the trio in the US.

 

Unless they lowball the already low balled prices of the other two, and that is doubtful. Gilead has reduced their price up to 50% (and they've recouped their original costs), we'd be hardly scratch the surface of recouping DCV cost with a limited indication at a discounted price.

 

BMS does not have a history of strategically pricing drugs.

 

Another reason to leave HCV is CV is resigning next week. Leaving for consulting gig.

 

If this is true about CV, he'll leave his Vertex blood brothers behind to fend for themselves

 

Why is Chris leaving? Did he give a reason? He is the only reason I had any confidence in HCV left. If he goes, the whole ship is going down.
