former here...Is anyone at KCI/Acelity happy or making money? How many reps are at or above quota so far this year for the Acute and Post Acute sides?

No, no, and above quota, but not making much money.

I have been here a while and this is absolutely the worst it has ever been. Only ones making money are new hires because they are guaranteed quotas. Last survey proved it.

Pensar is pissed! by David Buchicchio

    Cowards:
What a competitor of Pensar Medical LLC
may become when it cannot fairly compete
with a better company and its superior products.

    By David Buchicchio,
    Manager, Pensar Medical, LLC.

Pensar Medical LLC is home to innovative, patent-pending products for negative
    pressure wound care.

A customer of Pensar Medical LLC recently contacted us. He was alarmed at false
and damaging statements found at an anonymous website in a blog posted on
March 23, 2015 (“False Website”). This post is presented to correct for our
customers the mis-representations and false innuendo of the False Website.
The False Website generally promotes products of a competitor of Pensar Medical
LLC. The false statements about Pensar Medical LLC in the blog seem to originate
or have some connection with that competitor.

After careful research, no person or company can be found who is responsible for
the False Website. No person or company is shown as the author of the posts or
owner of the website. The False Website was built by its owner to say false and
outrageous things about Pensar Medical LLC from behind a wall of Internet
    anonymity.

Cowards – that is what we call people or companies who build, post at and
maintain such anonymous websites with false, damaging statements about others. If the post of March 23, 2015 originates with or is created on behalf of a
competitor of Pensar Medical LLC, such a competitor has acted childishly and has
conducted a campaign of lies in the manner of such a child playing hide and go seek.

The harm done to Pensar Medical LLC by the writer of the post of March 23, 2015
at the False Website is real. Corrective notices cannot undo all the damage done.
The operator of the False Website has been asked to take down the offensive and
inaccurate post of March 23, 2015 with the address found at the bottom of this post.

We shall not respond to every statement that is false on its face or by innuendo, but the following are responses to certain of the most outrageous of the statements about Pensar Medical LLC at the False Website.
    1.
Pensar Medical has all required FDA approvals for their black foam dressing.

The False Website wrongly asserted that Pensar Medical LLC was not “able” to get
FDA approval of black (hydrophobic) foam. That assertion is literally false and
was known to be false to the writer. Addition of that black foam dressing to Pensar
Medical LLC products was made in strict compliance with FDA protocols and
procedures that indicated FDA approval, in that limited case, was not required.
However, Pensar Medical LLC has recently submitted a request for 510(k) review
of one of its family of products as a formality so that its name will appear in online
databases. The black foam dressing is included in that request for 510(k) review.
    2.
Pensar Medical LLC is not, has not and never will be known as Accuro
    Medical.

The False Website wrongly asserted that Pensar Medical LLC was “aka Accuro
Medical”. That assertion is literally false and was known to be false to the writer.
No public record or transaction of Pensar Medical LLC was, is, or ever will be
made under the name “Accuro Medical”.The writer has libeled Pensar Medical
LLC by saying it is basically the same company that went out of business, a
statement that diminishes the reputation of Pensar Medical LLC and its founders,
none of who worked for or owned any part of Accuro Medical.
    3.
Pensar Medical LLC owns 510(k) approvals from the FDA for its wound
    dressings.

The False Website wrongly inferred that Pensar Medical LLC does not own 510(k)
approvals for its products. That innuendo is literally false and was known to be
false to the writer. The writer based the statement on the writer’s inadequate and
lazy research skills. Before starting operations, Pensar Medical LLC conducted an
in-depth review of its products in cooperation with the FDA and obtained approval
of its 510(k) coverage in that process. Decent research skills for online databases
are all that is needed for a researcher to find the online records of Pensar Medical
LLC’s 510(k) approvals for its products.
    4.
Pensar Medical LLC is a registered medical device supplier and does not
rely on an “FDA K#” for the right to operate its business.

The False Website wrongly inferred that Pensar Medical LLC operates its business
as a medical device supplier on the basis of a 510(k) approval. That innuendo is
literally false and was known to be false to the writer. The writer based the
statement on the writer’s feigned ignorance of basic FDA terminology in an
attempt to confuse customers of Pensar Medical LLC, whose registration number
is 3007793449, with an owner/operator number of 10043309 and an FDA status of
ACTIVE. The 510(k) number for the WoundPro System is K100823.
    5.
    Pensar Medical LLC is registered with the FDA as: Manufacturer;
Remanufacturer; Specification Developer; and U.S. Manufacturer of Export Only Devices.

The False Website falsely stated that Pensar Medical LLC must limit its business
to export only business. That innuendo is literally false and was known to be false
to the writer. The writer based the statement on the writer’s feigned temporary
blindness to three other registration bases for the business of Pensar Medical LLC
in the online records for the FDA.
    6.
Pensar Medical has all required FDA approvals for their Stingray feature.

The False Website wrongly inferred that Pensar Medical LLC was required to
obtain FDA approval of a Stingray pad feature of its products. That assertion is
literally false and should have been known to be false to the writer. Addition of
that Stingray pad feature to Pensar Medical LLC products was made in strict
compliance with FDA protocols and procedures that indicated FDA approval, in
that limited case, was not required. However, Pensar Medical LLC has recently
submitted a request for 510(k) review of one of its family of products as a
formality so that its name will appear in online databases. The Stingray pad feature
is included in that request for 510(k) review.
    7.
Pensar Medical has all required FDA approvals for their Wound Pro
    Hydrophobic Foam Dressing kit.

The False Website wrongly states that Pensar Medical LLC has not “approve (sic)”
Wound Pro Hydrophobic Foam Dressing kit. That assertion is literally false and
should have been known to be false to the writer. The Wound Pro Hydrophobic
Foam Dressing kit was made in strict compliance with FDA protocols and
procedures that indicated FDA approval, for specific, certain features, was not
required. However, Pensar Medical LLC has recently submitted a request for
510(k) review of one of its family of products as a formality so that its name will
appear in online databases. The Wound Pro Hydrophobic Foam Dressing kit is
included in that request for 510(k) review.
    8.
Pensar Medical LLC has all required FDA approvals for their “foam” and
is registered with the FDA as: Manufacturer; Remanufacturer; Specification Developer; and U.S. Manufacturer of Export Only Devices.

The False Website falsely inferred that the “foam” of Pensar Medical LLC requires a separate 510(k) approval and stated that Pensar Medical LLC must limit its business to export only business. The innuendo and statement are literally false and were known to be or should be known to be false to the writer. The writer based the statement on the writer’s feigned temporary blindness to three other registration bases for the business of Pensar Medical LLC in the online records for the FDA.

Pensar Medical LLC does not need anonymous communications to discuss its competitor’s products. It appears that a competitor of Pensar Medical LLC knew of the damage that could be done by false statements and took actions to shield itself from being known for them. Pensar Medical LLC honors its customers by being up front and open with them, unlike what appears to be a competitor that posted at the following address:

The question is "Is it that bad?" It's a new form of SLAVERY. We're the new whipping boy, understaffed, underpaid and the "LEANERS" cut so deep that it hurts.

Why is Acelity STILL using all of these consultants that they spend millions on? They keep doing the same work expecting different results. No, they are not increasing revenue! Why isn't there investment in correct staffing levels? The business and the employees are suffering because of it. All the execs want to do is cash in their stock.

Does any other territory have to spend thousands of hours on reports for your manager? Kinda hard to sell products when you're stuck on conference calls all day and filling out reports. Duh.

You would think. But the constant reports, trackers, and hours of conference calls seem to be a priority over sales. How about making a proper comp plan that can actually be understood a priority instead.

Or I guess they could just make up a new name for the trac pad and market it as "new" technology. Seriously.

no…it's worse than bad!!!!! I feel like I'm on a T.V. show like candid camera or something. Someone keeps coming up with horrible scenarios at work and want to see your reaction. This place is a joke.

they believe that we have become the standard of care, no "sales force" necessary ? Too bad we all couldn't strike for a week to prove our value

It's so bad I could walk out today and collect unemployment and feel a sense of relief. Feel like a low life just staying here.
