If you are going to post. At least don't lie. If you really are an employee, you would know there are 3 options. 1. Accrued vacation 2. Borrowed Vacation 3. Unpaid leave.

Curious what center are you in that they told you you would be responsible for everything next week. You can put district instead of center.

its actually not a lie. if you were one of the unfortune that HAVE TO STAY OR QUIT then you have to take the time borrowed if you have no more vacation and if your dept is not open during those two weeks. you see some people can not afford to take unpaid time. ALSO the director and old manager of the call center had made several points to tell Lexington that there would be no lay offs. So people like me used up all my vacation time in august. I never planned losing my job. its been communicated in several emails that weren't address to Lexington (thanks matt by the way for not sending us those emails) that ALL functions will be sent to the field eventually. so that tells me that im a goner. its common sense since they let go about 100 people there is no reason to have a large building that we are in just for the small amount left. so that means I would have to use borrowed vacation time for those two weeks and when I am let go they will take that money out of my last checks if I don't stay for the entire yr of 2014. so you must be in the local center. don't think you are smart to know every situation.

That doesn't even make sense. What do you think is in a district and do you honestly not think that everything is about to fall into the lap of the center CSRs and techs? There is no back up this time. You're flying solo and I hope for you that you have a GM who knows how to troubleshoot over the phone and actually get billing documents. I can't help but wonder how many recert/reauth cases are going to be missed. Does anyone in the field know what the 60mo cap backlog looks like? Or, how about this, the paperwork that was never deemed important because it didn't put dollars in the PCCs' pocket are finally important. Do you think the PCCs will just fall in line to getting this stuff? It's like telling a spoilt child to pick up his room -- let the temper tantrum begin.

I'll sit back at my job, where people say "thank you" and don't speak to me like a dog, with my bag of marshmallows and wait for the place to burn.

Wow if you don't know the difference between a center and a district you are in trouble. A center would be carrolton which is part of the Dallas Fort Worth district.

Most sales reps in the industry should be getting the required documents. My firm required the CLEAN documents before any commission was paid. I'm pretty sure PPS took anything as a set up to bolster the numbers reported and to appease sleazy sale reps.

Knowing what the documentation requirements are to submit a "clean" bill to medicare or any other payer is the resposiblity of PPS executive management to educate the field operations and sales. I can tell you from first hand field sales experience PPS executive did little to educate themsleves or the field. PPS had been been running on auto pilot for some time. Prior to the FBI raid PPS simply submitted a bill with a KX modfier which tell CMS (roughly 85% of PPS buinsess) that PPS has all the documentation to submit a "clean" claim regardless of wether PPS did or not, usually not. CMS is a pay and chace organization. Peter Kelly and others just made money, vactioned in Europe and the BVI and could care less about Stark Regs, LCD's, Safe Harbour Laws etc. PPS gave free services such as E tanks in office and Pulse Oximeters to physicians offices all of which had a value in excess of 10 dollars, clearly inducement for referrals. Reality, I sat in a metting in which R3 and Revenue fought with each other in regards to requirements, talk about left hand not talking to the right, these are the folks that truly hold the fate of the comapny in their hands!!!!! To date they still cant speak with one voice! A house divided can not stand.

You are right about this. PPS had the least educated sales people in the industry. I'm not speaking of education buy of training. Had PPS management been transparent, sales would have understood that certain criteria was needed for 02 patients to qualify. The sales staff never focused on educating their referral sources about legislation that would change how they did business. The only thing they were instructed to do was to take lunches in to their accounts. PPS has had several open sales positions listed for over a year with no attempts to fill them. Another sign that they are for sale.

Movies? What are you talking about? I was working at corporate the morning of the FBI raid. A female agent came right up to my desk at exactly 8:30AM and whisked me off to the training room, where we non-executives were all sequestered for about 3 hours. I recall people bringing in waters and snacks for us because we couldn't LEAVE, and having to be escorted by an FBI agent INTO the bathroom (while the agent patiently waited for me to pee!). So yes, we WERE sent to the training room, we couldn't leave, we couldn't go back to our desks, the FBI wasn't letting anyone into the building, and we sure as heck couldn't go to the bathroom unless chaperoned.

I also recall a idiot PCC who was in sales training that day, actually taking pictures on her cell phone of all the action going on inside the training room. That didn't go over very well with the agents-- they nabbed her phone and whisked her out of the room. Quiet the drama, and definitely not a movie I saw. You can't make this crazy stuff up.

Oh my god I almost forgot about her. She didn't last long if I recall.
