What's the purpose of the new Respiratory Specialty Team? Any thoughts? Is this a promotion or demotion? RST reps working with overlay reps in their territory and expected to grow Symbicort business? Is it "specialty" when customer calls are being counted and multiple reps in one office?

According to AZ yes. We have a boat load in CV specialty.

They never should have dismantled the old RPT Specialty. Granted Respules went generic but you could find a market for them still and keep pushing FlexHaler and growing Symbicort with PUD's. Add to that another avenue to add products and you could have protected yourselves and money. Very short sighted

Helllooo!!! Don't you know that senior mgt is listening to you and the customer. They want less interaction and more specialized reps calling on them. These elite performers will be trained, unlike any other, to have specialized discussions with these providers and break down any and all barriers to entry because of their new training and specialized knowledge. Not even a concrete wall will keep them from seeing these customers. In fact, they are going to be asking for them. This has nothing to do with someone on the Symbicort team trying to build a IDP and say look what I did. It's all about the customer????
