I hate to add rain to an already gloomy day, but based on what I heard from an industry consultant last week, this week's pruning wont be the only cut in this 12 month period.

Our pipeline, industry dynamics and our current head count don't square up with what's coming in the very near future. A major decrease in expenses/overhead is our last hope.
