Cardio - Eliquis, Chantix, diabetes prod?

Men/women's health - Viagra, Toviaz, Duavee

Pain - layoffs followed by merger of CL1/4 and Rhu. - Celebrex via contract until end of 2014, Lyria, FLP, Opioids, Xel. - possible 3 positions in the pain bag, IHR, DSR, PHR with varying product alignments

With PC, Rhu, IS merger I would expect no change to Rhu, layoffs in PC, layoffs in IS. Remaining IS reps slatted into Cardio and Pain.

PCBU shared LATs in C1 have the biggest risk of all.

This alignment makes the most sense based on JY email. I would expect around a 20-30% overall reduction. Good luck.

IS is not merging with PC or Rhu, it's going to ESBU. If Celebrex an d lyrica have LOE 2015 or sooner they also go to ESBU. You clearly don't know what your talking about.

Neither do you....Lyrica is not going to the ESBU/Value division. Read your emails.

Celebrex to contract sales force? Brilliant move, not, since the Celebrex reps are kicking ass with it now.....pull it from us and watch the sabotage begin.

That's right dear leaders. Keep rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Only Wallstreet gets fooled by it and our ELTs get fatter bank accounts manipulating the share price to maximize their bonuses with their stock options. Yet we pray for a job to stay above water?

Get better leadership and none of us need to be laid off.

Relax Celebrex is not going to a contract force. It may be in a different "reporting" division but no reason to take current reps off the product. That's the opinion out here in the West.

Makes too much sense. the "ELT" would never grasp something as obvious as saving hundreds of millions of dollars a year by using contract reps and managers

They already have demonstrated that they believe relationships mean nothing. Why would they notice how much they can save using contract reps?

LOL. Your impending lay off has nothing to do with these people....It has to do with the nature of the industry. Diminished customer access means diminished ROI. You're just not worth much out there anymore I am sad to say.
Move on. Find a new career. You're viewed as a joke by medical professionals. Have some pride and do something that matters.

The post said (IF) they have an LOE 2015 or earlier they will go to ESBU. That has already been announced for any drug in the Pfizer portfolio. Learn how to read MF.

This is almost funny if it weren't so sad. We walked away from OB's this year. They are the main target for Duavee. I do not see the Pfizer sales force promotion this drug. It will be contracted out just as Pristiq was.

Toviaz does not produce enough volume to justify a sales force. Buckle your seatbelt it is going to be a bumpy ride.

Sure sounds like management is talking out of both ends- move Celebrex over to the Value portfolio but contract out with their innovative sales team to continue selling. What is the point of moving Celebrex over to the value portfolio if Pfizer is going to rearrange the deck chairs with their P&L? I understand Pfizer is trying to run like three separate companies but having the innovative branch continue selling for the value branch shows codependency and does not make a case for their independence, or a step towards unlocking shareholder value.
